Obscene Standing Rock Media Blackout: US Militarized Police Butchery. Shooting Genitalia. Threatening to Rape Oil Protesters

By Deborah Dupré

SPECIAL REPORT

United States militarized police have seriously injured countless innocent Americans by shooting their genitals and backs of heads so the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) at Standing Rock construction can proceed. The project completion has been ruled illegal and media has blacked out the bloody horror. Highly disturbing graphic accounts were presented Monday. Even such observers of recent gory scenes there are traumatized, as though reporting on war-torn countries where US troops shoot innocent people fleeing with hands up, same as recently happening at Standing Rock. Military bulldozers, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected trucks, Long Range Acoustic Device sound cannons and psychological weapons, such as threatening to rape protesters, have been employed against Americans in the heart of the United States — all for protecting oil corporation profiteers, against “We the people”, Americans’ rights to clean water, health, dignity and to protest.

“I have returned from Standing Rock with my mind blown, my heart broken and my spirit troubled with foreboding of a deepening tragedy,” writes legal observer Deborah MacKay, requesting wide circulation of her disturbing graphic account (below) of her recent witnessing. Mainstream media has blacked out the horror.

Dakota Access Pipeline News Updates

Donald Trump’s first week as president and one day after federal officials greenlighted the Dakota Access Pipeline, despite its completion ruled in court illegal, saw a new wave of US militarized police violence against the people. They brutally arrested 76 more legal protesters (adding to hundreds others in past months), shot and threatened to rape remaining protesters.

As many as 15,000 water protectors, including 4,000 veterans, were still at the DAPL ceremonial camps in December.

“I saw that this assembly of indigenous tribes and supporters is among the most serene and peaceful groups of people I have been around,” wrote Earth Watch contributor Raul Garcia in November. “They are not unified by indignity. What unifies the thousands of water protectors who are bracing for the incoming winter is devotion and prayer. In fact, elders and tribal leaders told us repeatedly that tribal camps aren’t protests; these are ceremonies being held at a sacred place. And, they told us, they expect the behavior of their brothers and sisters to reflect that.”

Facing snow and sub-zero temperatures, the camps’ populations dwindled to approximately 1,100 before arrests and injuries last week. Remaining protectors continue risking their lives to protect their land, their water — water of 18 million Americans downstream where the pipe will carry oil, disease and death, as pipelines do.

Deborah McKay’s Letter

Friends,

I have returned from Standing Rock with my mind blown, my heart broken and my spirit troubled with foreboding of a deepening tragedy. Volunteering as a legal observer with the Water Protector (WP) Legal Collective, I witnessed several confrontations between Water Protectors (WP) and law enforcement: national guard, sheriffs and private security (LE).

On 1/18/17 – 1/19/17 I observed WP with their hands in the air chanting, “Hands up don’t shoot!” being fired upon at a range of 10 to 15 feet. Tear gas canisters and rubber bullets (rubber bullets are regular bullets covered in rubber) were used against unarmed WP who had been singing and praying. I observed national guard chasing WP off the Backwater bridge, firing at people running away. I heard people choking and gagging from tear gas. I saw access to the WP medic vehicles being blocked. I spoke with medics and WP who described bullets penetrating flesh and causing terrible injuries, including to one media person who nearly lost his finger when his camera was targeted.

I talked with a media person and was told of 4 media people on the bridge that night, 3 had their recording devices shot and the 4th, his hand. I saw a photo of a sheriff aiming a rifle directly at a media woman who was standing apart from the crowd. I heard testimony of the back of the medic pickup truck being awash in blood after evacuating wounded.

I watched, and then, inadvertently became a part of, WP being forced off the bridge by national guard who were hiding behind WP vehicles parked along the road and firing rubber bullets at fleeing people. Many people were shot in the back, the neck, the head. When LE fired at people at close range, many were shot in the genitals or in the face. I received information about DAPL security breaching the short wave radio channels of the WP with taunts such as, “Come out and fight like men you faggots or we will come to Camp and fuck your women.”

There are some young warriors, who, without the support of their elders, many who want the camps cleared to mitigate the economic and social damage being suffered by the local community in having the bridge closed, have vowed to not leave the camps or to let the last section of pipeline be built.

Driving away from the area on Monday I saw a convoy of construction vehicles heading to the drill pad. Last night an indigenous website live streamed reports of drilling and construction noises coming from the drill pad.

Without the eyes of a free press these attacks and trespasses continue, with the human rights and sovereignty of indigenous peoples denied. The UN Committee on Transnational Corporations and Human Right Abuses was in Standing Rock this week to take testimony of the many transgressions against people: crop dusters spraying poison pesticides and fertilizers on the camps; hair samples indicating the presence of these chemicals; people who have been injured, beat up, arrested, strip searched; media and medics being targeted by snipers; (one medic told me he stopped wearing his Red Cross vest due to medics being targeted); praying people being attacked and the refusal of DAPL and our government to abide by the Rule of Law.

The vets who came in Dec to stand down against these crimes need to be on the ground there now, right now. We need to stand up for our brothers and our sisters, for their way of life and, I believe, for our social contract as a democracy which is now threatened.

Please share this so word gets out what is happening, thank you.

Deborah MacKay

“President Trump has proven to be a man of action,” wrote Rep. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) regarding the pipeline.

Major General Malcolm Frost, US Army chief of public affairs, said the government was acting on Trump’s orders “to operate the Dakota Access pipeline in compliance with the law.”

Standing Rock Sioux Tribe lawyers declare that ignoring the Army Corps of Engineers Dec. 4 ruling is illegal, and promise to battle in court. A group of US army veterans, Veterans Stand raised $37,000 to send members to Standing Rock in coming days.

“We are committed to nonviolence, and we will do everything within our power to ensure that the environment and human life are respected,” Anthony Diggs, a spokesman for Veterans Stand, told CNBC. “That pipeline will not get completed. Not on our watch.”

Veterans for Standing Rock is raising funds through FundMe and the official Sacred Stone Camp GoFundMe site is here.

UPDATE

Bloomberg reports:

The company needs the easement to complete work under Lake Oahe, following President Donald Trump’s memorandum that advised expediting review of the project. Trump took office promising to favor oil and natural gas developments as well as support new infrastructure, which has included reviving TransCanada Corp.’s Keystone XL pipeline.

Erich Pica, Friends of the Earth president, described the development as both “sickening” and “predictable,” but said those who have opposed the project will not back down, according to Common Dreams.

“The Standing Rock Sioux and Indigenous American peoples who have fought for their sacred tribal land and water rights deserve human dignity and a healthy future,” Picah said in a statement. “We stand behind them in the #NoDAPL fight and will put financial pressure on the banks financing this destructive pipeline project. The people’s resistance to keep fossil fuels in the ground will not disappear.”

The resistance has already begun a campaign, moving personal funds out Wells Fargo and Citibank, both loaning money to complete the pipeline.

DAPL sacred ceremonies to protect water have been turned into the horror of fascism. Gory details here will hopefully awaken at least some of those tragically misguided — before more bloodshed across the US. This brutality for oil is not making America great again.

    • Paul Brown

My hat off to Ms Dupre. This is one of the most important stories I have ever read, about American cowardly brutality and about American brave commitment to principles. I hope it is picked up by responsible news sites. I will feature it in esamizdat, my free newslink service ([email protected]), where other stories of US perfidy and goodness are carried. The commercial media will, of course, continue to black it out.

      • Deborah Dupre

        Thank you, Dr. Brown.

        Questions:
Anyone with any idea why articles like this reach 50 views in moments with many people viewing it at same time and than BAM – come to screeching near halt, with only a few viewers at a time?
Is nationwide censorship this good – even on BIN – or could it possibly just perhaps be an internal political “glitch” somewhere?
Are we to never expose these real atrocities on US soil now?

        • Philo

with all due respect as a Frisian i cannot but conclude that you Americans have really created a great nation. Ravaging and pillaging the earth till she destroys us all. Thank you very much.
Oh and that One World Government that you strive so hard to bring to us , would you please keep it there and withgdraw your killers who push so hard for it from our continent?
          Thank you

          • Deborah Dupre

Philo – I just tweeted part of your comment because it was so telling. Thank you.

    • spure

      Hi Deborah!
Not sure if it’s true, but I heard that the pipeline does not cross one inch of Native American’s land.

Also Warren Buffet owns the trains that currently transport oil and the pipeline would make his trains obsolete.

Oil pipelines do leak, but not as many accidents as truck or train transportation.

      • Deborah Dupre

        Hi Spurs,
The pipeline would travel beneath Missouri River, the primary drinking water source for Standing Rock Sioux tribe with 10,000 people on its reservation in the central North and South Dakota. Pipeline builders insist that they have took extraordinary measures to safeguard against disaster, but even safest pipelines leak.
The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) reported more than 3,300 leaks and ruptures at oil and gas pipelines — since 2010. Even the smallest spill could damage the tribe’s water supply – and much more – impacting 18 million Americans downstream.
Court ruled it illegal, but Trump and his supporters believe they are all above the law, especially when it comes to making big money from big dirty oil, right?

        • spure

True. I used to be a big supporter of the protesters there, but now I am really torn.

There are always so many layers to the stories we hear and lately it’s all political.

So when I hear that Warren Buffet, who was always against Trump, is going to lose out big if this deal goes through, it makes you wonder who was pulling the strings to call it illegal.

Buffet and Obama were very “close” as you would have it.

He heartily supported Obama even though Obama doubled our national debt.

          http://www.warrenbuffett.com/warren-buffetts-thoughts-about-president-obama/

and don’t forget that Obama legalized the use of propaganda on “we the people”

          http://www.businessinsider.com/ndaa-legalizes-propaganda-2012-5

So it really makes one wonder…

          • Deborah Dupre

Very interesting. I still fo not think it’s as interesting as the facts that Trump is an investor in this deal and the oil barons funded his election – and that he has no trouble ordering people to break the law, even butchering his own people. Imagine how other nations view this – if it gets out of US alt news sites. Already because of his law-breaking, insult and other inhumane actions and those he promises, nations are beginning to talk about boycotting the US. Imagine how that’s going to go down. The UK won;t even allow him to speak publicly there when he goes.
My take on all this i different. Tell me what you think: The Bush/Obama regime set into place 100% corporate control/fascism with 9/11 false flag making USA PATRIOT ACT and NDAA seem ok enough to remove rights. Now, with that settled, puppeteers put in Trump. I think he could offend so many countries and Americans, chaos will erupt – a real uprising, especially since only some 30% wanted him as president. Uprising occurs and boom: the long awaited martial law is needed – a real coup, or he’s left in as a dictator. Congress already codified US dictatorship and martial law. That was just the beginning. It’s a process for full spectrum dominance – and that includes everyone everywhere, including the USA.

            • Hi NSA, kiss my artichoke

Trump just signed an EO taking Americans money out of illeagles hands.
If Trump is a puppet, he’s even Better than Pinocchio.

            • spure

True news from the UK is hard to discern. Theresa May was one of the first international visits for Trump and she supported Brexit.

“Bush/Obama regime set into place 100% corporate control/fascism with 9/11 false flag making USA PATRIOT ACT and NDAA seem ok enough to remove rights.”

Absolutely agree with you there, that should basically taught in schools– But wait! Maybe it will be with Betsy Devos confirmed as head of education!

Trump as a puppet I just don’t buy. Obama is a puppet, for sure. Hillary is a puppet without a doubt.

Did you know that Hillary spent somewhere around 1.5 billion dollars on her campaign fighting Trump, which is unprecedented in any political campaign?

That money wasn’t wasted on purpose. George Soros himself, who was/is a huge donor to clinton, said not long ago in Davos, switzerland, some pretty harsh words about Trump, while at the same time, pontificating the wonders of globalism.

If the whole election fiasco was some huge orchestrated event, where they really stacked the competition and brainwashed a bunch of people, and made the MSM go through that painstakingly long 2 years of false reporting, just to trick the american people, then I suppose…

But really, If you watch how the major news networks distort his words daily, like I do,(I watch both sides) you would want to throw up.

That just doesn’t scream, “The establishment wanted Trump the whole time!”

      • Deborah Dupre

Just posted on Facebook: Remember these are not “Militarized Police”, they’re hired mercenaries who are only in it for the money (Loans totaling $21 million to date) by present and former governors for their war against the Water Protectors. They have no souls or conscience and will resort to anything.

Story not written well enough? Not important enough? Or is it too truthful? Thank you for reading and commenting.

    • Just me

The government laughs at “peaceful” protests.

      • Deborah Dupre

Yes, as so with all other constitutional rights. He has investments in this pipeline and its oil barons helped elect him with mega bucks. But not to worry – no conflict of interest between his businesses and safety of Americans, right?

    • Boo

Hey Deborah, don’t they have to pump oil from the ground to get it. The ground leaks raw oil all over the place and finds new places to leak it all the time. And guess what, the earth reprocesses it and clears it away. Much like a septic tank processes waste. The pipeline will be monitored and any leaks will be dealt with effectively and safely should they occur. The nice thing about water is, is that it doesn’t mix with oil. It gets cleaned up by the earth own filtering system in water supply’s. You may want to research that for your next article.

      • Deborah Dupre

Boo- That’s not what the Army Corps of Engineer found. And guess what:
Crude oil causes cancer and a myriad of other killer “environmental diseases”. Ever see what diseases people near fracking get, or is it just easier to not look?
The court ruling found this illegal. Does that not matter anymore either – just rule of the jungle, whatever is good for corporations?

        • DISPENSER

Ideas – Very wise statement. Would you say that what you write the start of an overt physical revolution?

    • Eggzactly

A judge has denied a motion for a preliminary injunction Tuesday in regards to a confrontation last November at the Backwater Bridge between law enforcement and Dakota Access Pipeline protesters.
A federal judge says Dakota Access Pipeline protesters are unlikely to succeed in a lawsuit alleging excessive force and civil rights violations.
Court documents show plaintiffs asserting law enforcement used unreasonable force, causing injuries in a confrontation on November 20 of last year.
The plaintiffs say some of their rights were violated, including their first amendment right.
The document says the First Amendment can’t be utilized as a justification for trespass, and the government has the right to enforce trespass laws on both private and public property.
Judge Daniel Hovland concluded the protesters’ presence that night was a clear violation of the law.

Last week, we showed you all the garbage that was left by Dakota Access Pipeline protesters at the Oceti Sakowin Camp.
Now, we’re showing you where all that trash will end up.
Sanitation crews are working hard to dispose of six months’ worth of garbage from a community the size of Wahpeton or Valley City. The mountains of debris need to be moved before the spring thaw occurs.
Making a dent in the immense amount of trash being hauled out of the Oceti Sakowin protest camp is being hindered by the weather. All the garbage that was left behind is now frozen into massive chunks of junk.
In a month, all this trash could become toxic.
“Standing Rock Environmental Protection Agency and Dakota Sanitation are working together to try and advert an environmental tragedy,” says Tom Doering, Morton County Emergency Manager.
It’s estimated it will take 250 trucks filled with litter to clear the camp.
“There’s a lot of work to be done,” says Doering.
Each load that’s dumped is inspected by the Morton County Sheriff’s Department.
“We are looking for, as I said, anything illegal, anything that might be used to, I guess, harm our officers during a protest,” says Jay Gruebele, Morton County Sheriff’s Office Captain.
Authorities are also searching through the piles for evidence they hope they don’t find.
“As bad as it sounds, we’re looking for people that may have died and could be wrapped up in a canvas or a tarp or tent,” says Gruebele.
Logistics make cleaning up this mess more difficult. “Because the bridge is closed, they have to take the long way around, so it’s adding haul time,” says Doering.
Twenty-three loads have been dumped at the Bismarck Landfill since the cleanup started.
The clean-up effort started about a week ago.
Legal representatives of law enforcement have asked for the case to be dismissed, while the plaintiffs lawyers say they will appeal.

“The tribe’s Department of Environmental Regulations says it’s removing abandoned camp sites, and solid waste services have always been provided at the camp.

The tribe says donation funds from a Paypal link on the Standing Rock website will pay the cleanup costs.

Dakota Sanitation started the hauling effort, but the tribe says Standing Rock Sanitation Services and Jensen Rock and Sand are taking over.

The department director says she’s disappointed the Morton County Sheriff’s Department is looking through the camp’s waste.

“I really think Morton County Sheriff’s Department needs to continue to try to repair relations with the tribe instead of encouraging this continued discrimination. They’re always looking for a chance to find fault and to cause blame to the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and to the water protectors by looking for for dead bodies in the debris. It’s completely absurd,” says Allyson Two Bears, director.

Two Bears says many protesters left belongings behind because of the winter storms. http://www.kfyrtv.com/content/news/Standing-Rock-Sioux-Tribe-says-donations-will-pay-for-DAPL-protest-camp-cleanup-costs-413093813.html

        • Hi NSA, kiss my artichoke

Where Leftists go, the rest of the world is condemned to clean up after.

          • Cintus Supremus

That’s true even when they don’t litter.

    • Pink Slime

      Yes, Yes!

But you forgot one thing. The pipeline company met with the Indians over 300 TIMES to make sure everything was OK and they agreed everything was OK. They complied to their demands doing 140 variations of the route.

In short, they bent backwards for the Indians. They made sure everything was done culturally right and complied the best way environmentally and seemed everything was met as economically and culturally right and for the most part all seemed to be met.

Besides, transporting oil is MUCH MUCH safer through pipelines than rail carts something the environmentalist don’t want you to know – INCLUDING YOU!

And you are not reporting the very UNCIVIL behavior of the protesters, including damaging equipment, trespassing, burning tires (of all things), harassing ranchers and others nearby including killing livestock, etc.

So you can see it is not about the pipeline, per say, but about progress which the LEFT hates when humans do that. They prefer you live like TURD world countries which they never protest about their living conditions, if you care to notice.

In short, the Indians got bad advice from the lying left using Indians like the way they use Negroes as a front to HATRED of the WHITE MAN!

      • Hi NSA, kiss my artichoke

Yeah in the name of progress: America the Great has the right to to rape pillage and destroy the earth.
But you know what ? Your Mother Earth is sick and tired of your American Dream .Pretty soon you as a Nation now will learn what Karma is. All the injustice your false democracy and all thekilling you have done and are daily doing around the world it will all visit you at home .People around the world are daily praying for an end to your rule over the peoples of this earth.

How do you wipe your ass when you do a number 2? Do you eat food from a white man grocery store with a swipe of an EBT card or do you still trudge in manure and plant your garden and hope and pray your little crop grows or you’ll STARVE.

But no problem, there is always white man’s Walmart and McDonalds to feed your fat little 7-11 bellies.

Thank g*d for white man! Or another injun would kill me for my last ear of corn!

      • You People Are Nuts

not to mention the tons of toxic waste they left behind on the land they’re fighting about.

besides, Indians don’t drink water, they drink Old Milwaukee.

        • Cintus Supremus

          “…they drink Old Milwaukee.”

Which is what the Missouri River would become if the DAPL ever ruptured. Toxic sludge, otherwise known as Old Milwaukee.

Say, these injuns really are operating against their own best interests.

          Soros has everybody so confused.

    • dakota

This is a global issue, not just here, because the ptb intend to do this all over the globe…to all of us.

Everyone everywhere needs to pray for these people and their safety and their need to protect the water. They need our help. Pray that the govt will order this action (this attack) against the South Dakota Indians to be stopped. Also, pray for the soldiers that are being ordered to attack these people. Pray for them to realize what they are doing to innocent people who are only defending what they should be defending. Pray for these soldiers to see that these people are not the enemy. Pray for them to realize who the enemy really is.

There’s no guarantee these soldiers will come home alive either. So you families of these soldiers better start praying to God Almighty for this to be resolved in the best interests of all human, animal and plant life everywhere. God wants this too, so give Him reason to help. PRAY and KEEP PRAYING. He won’t help without your prayers.

You help others, yourselves and your families in the bargain. Don’t just roll over and let it be.
The Indians are putting their lives on the line. The least we can do is pray for them until this is over. Pray for any and all people when they need it.

God please help the Indians in the protection of their water rights and ours too. We’re all in this together against those that mean harm and death to all of us and our families and to the very earth God created for us to dwell on.

The real enemies are NOT the Indians! Neither is the enemy ANYONE anywhere around the globe who are protecting their water rights, their land, their home, their families, their lives. Wake up and see what’s really going on regarding every single situation that comes in the news. All is not what it seems and it’s likely to stay that way. So, wake up and pay attention to what’s really going on. Who is really in the wrong? Figure it out.
      It’s called……THINK IT OUT.
