The energies produced by a ring accelerator when particles are accelerated through an electromagnetic field may just hold the key to what some would describe as “anti-gravity” technology. As the particles travel in the circular direction, electromagnetic lines of force are produced at right angles to the ring, some emitting upwards and others downward. This force only needs to be greater than that of gravity, the weakest force, to give the lift, thrust needed to produce vertical movement.
