Is North Korea sucking us into a big trap (Nuclear War) from which there is no escape?

If you have not watched the movie “The Sum of All fears” look it up and watch it. The main theme of the movies as echoed by the extreme right wing modern day NAZI in the movie is a statement that at this point in time is scary as Hell. He said –Hitler was stupid, you do not fight the Americans and the Russians at the same time YOU GET THE AMERICANS AND RUSSIANS TO FIGHT EACHOTHER! With this thought in mind I am writing the following article.
Today is May 22 2017 as of this Date; Kim Jong Un the leader of North Korea has threatened the United States of America, Australia, So Korea, China & Russia with Nuclear WAR.
Today the Russians have just announced that they are placing troops on their border between North Korea and Russia. The Chinese after meeting with President Trump placed 150,000 of their troops on the border between China and North Korea. The US has over 28,500 combat ready troops in So. Korea and the So. Koreans have 520,000 troops plus protection from THAD missile defense systems just deployed in SO. Korea. The 7th fleet along with an armada of ships planes and submarines are deployed in the Sea of Japan off the west coast of The Korean peninsula a second armada is in the Yellow sea off the East cost of the Korean peninsula. The question here is twofold, #1 is Kim going to see that he is surrounded and trapped like a Rat or #2 is he along with support from the NOW setting things up so he can start WW3?
Scenario for War-When one looks for evidence of how many submarines and how old they are, The USA’s greats threat, Initially, you will find that the North Koreans possess only older Cold war category Old Russians and Chinese subs. (Whiskey/Romeo class) you will need to dig deeper to find out that the North Koreans have been busy developing the Sang-o and Sang-o 2 and then on to the Sing- Po with the Sing-po having at least one BLM tube for at surface and now with below surface launch capabilities. The newer version is believed to have at least two tubes for BLM. It is believed and best I can determine from my research that North Korea has about 75 plus older submarines of the Romeo, Shark, Yugo category. It is unknown how many newer subs in the Sang-o or Sing-po category are deployed. It has been rumored that the North Korean’s have about 150 submarines some with Cruz missiles variant capabilities.

North Korea has enough older Romeo-Shark-Yugo class submarines to keep our sub-hunters busy. I know we tracked the older subs easily during the cold war but my fear here is that we will let the older submarines distract us from the newer ones that are capable of launching a ballistic missile. So the old ones are sent out and the old shell game begins, which sub has the nuke? NOW think about this……..
The older subs are deployed toward the USA ,Hawaii, Japan, Australia, and the newer subs are deployed to deeper waters off the nearby deep sea trench to launch an attack on So. Korea with back up launches from North Korean Land or mobile units, at the same time or shortly just before or just after that attack launches are made from the newer North Korean Sing-Po subs on China, Russia, Hawaii. In the mean time all these countries go to their highest state of alert,Defcon-1 is set, will cool heads prevail I do not think so. Kim will not have to fight the United States or China or Russian, by then we will all be fighting at each other.
Our only possible saving grace is to deploy all of our ASROC sub killer ships to shadow and be ready to knock out all comers. The South Korean’s have been developing their ASROC capability since 2010 when North Korea stepped up their submarine building program. Let us hope we are ready for such a scenario and that we are not afraid to use the capability we have in our arsenal.
