RESIDENTS OF GRENFELL TOWER WARNED OF DANGERS & ADVISED TO “STAY PUT” IN EVENT OF FIRE

An inferno has raged overnight in London tower block Grenfell Tower with 50 people taken to hospital & as of yet no number put on the casualties.

The tower block is home to 125 families & the advice given to residents in the event of a fire was to “stay put”.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan has said there are “questions that have to be answered” after residents of Grenfell Tower were told to stay in their flats in the event of a fire.

Mr Khan condemned the “bad advice” given to residents of the West London tower block that was engulfed in flames overnight, killing several inhabitants and leaving many trapped inside the burning building.

A newsletter to residents in 2014 said the “stay put” policy worked because the block had been designed according to “rigorous fire safety standards”.

This “stay put” advice only works if fire fighters are able to gain access to internal shafts/areas to fight the fire. In this case something went horribly wrong & cost countless lives.

It is still to early to say how many people have lost their lives but in the days ahead there must be an enquiry into why such an insane policy was allowed to be in place.

One resident told CNN there were no fire alarms in the building and she was only made aware of the fire when someone on the 17 floor telephoned her on the 7th floor & informed her there was a fire.

Just what checks were carried out on the multi-million pound refurbishment? Witness reports suggest the new cladding on the face of the building was flammable and accelerated the blaze.

With such strict health and safety laws & inspections in the UK, how on earth was the cladding worked deemed safe?

With this still unfolding, everything is speculation as to the cause or who may be to blame, that can come in the days ahead.

Here is what we know so far….

• London Fire Brigade was first called at 12.54am on Wednesday morning to the Grenfell Tower in Latimer Road.
• The building in north Kensington is at least 24 stories high.
•  Forty engines containing more than 200 firefighters attended the scene.
• Thirty people were taken to five hospitals following the fire.
• Fire crews from north Kensington, Kensington, Hammersmith and Paddington and surrounding stations were at the scene with the fire burning from the second to the top floor.
• The cause of the fire is not yet clear.
• London mayor Sadiq Khan has said the fire has been declared a “major incident”.
• The Grenfell Tower was built in 1974 and contains 120 homes, according to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
• More than 20 ambulance crews were sent to the scene, London Ambulance Service said.

FINALLY….

The fire at Grenfell Tower in London has raged since just after midnight, some 10 hours ago at the time of writing this. Fire fighters are in the building and at this stage have been told it is structurally safe.

If Grenfell Tower is to collapse due to the heat of the fire, then it will only be the 4th skyscraper in history to do so. The other three all occurred on the same day, 11th September 2017. WTC 1, 2 & 7 are the only buildings, to date, to collapse under their own weight due to structural damage caused by fire.

The fire in Grenfell is still raging in areas, yet its deemed structurally safe. On 9/11, smaller fires than the ones we are looking at now brought down World Trade Centre towers 1,2 & 7, via the path of most resistance, in a far shorter time period.

9/11 defied the laws of physics not once, not twice, but three times, all on the same day. That is because 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!
