What Just Happened Over Australia? 7/18/17
STARGAZERS have spotted an “interplanetary shock” caused by a huge eruption on the surface of the sun.
Early this morning, the American Space Weather Prediction Centre published a space weather warning indicating that a “minor solar storm” was headed our way.
It warned about “an interplanetary shock, likely associated with the arrival of a coronal mass ejection“, a phenomenon in which vasts amounts of radioactive materials blasts off the solar surface and into space.
This can cause disturbances to satellites or possibly cause fluctuations in the power grid.
But its biggest effect will be to cause beautiful auroras in the skies of northern parts of the planet.
Sadly, the northern lights will probably not be visible in the UK.
Auroras were visible in the sky over the weekend, although British skygazers were disappointed.
Dr Nathan Case or Aurora Watch wrote: “We had such high hopes.
“Predictions were good, the best we’d seen for a while, and the early stats were promising but the aurora fizzled out before we had a chance to see it.”

The last report i heard of about this huge Sunspot stated that their was NO CME. Obviously i need too keep up more on the subject. To be honest ive been watching Yellowstone very closely lately, because of , ( earthquake swarms ), which have been growing in both intensity, and frequency. I talked too a man at a gas station while we were both filling up , who had on Wyoming license plates , so thought id ask a local , from the area about Yellowstone and if what we been hearing is true or not. Well what he said was worse than we been hearing , here and elsewhere!! HE told me that ( Old Faithful ), is now constantly blowing , and the park rangers have had too shut down parts of the park due too either the ground being too hot , so consequently a hazard too tourists, roadways on fire, along with toxic gases being released. , Central Scrutinizer , ive seen you comment many times over the past 2 years and you love too mock, laugh at, etc etc articles and call it fear mongering , and whatever else you want too call it , but this time the fear is real. This Sunspot along with a possible CME , when it comes back around could put a lot of stress on the tectonic plates , and with Yelowstone being a ticking timebomb , well…… gl and GB
