KS Gov. Colyer concedes: Kris Kobach declared winner

A closely watched race with Arizona connections

In a nail-biter of a Republican Primary Election, with counts and recounts to determine the winner of the Kansas Governor’s race, current Secretary of State Kris Kobach has emerged victorious. President Donald Trump endorsed Kobach, who has served as a leading adviser on issues of election fraud.

Jeff Colyer, the former Lieutenant Governor, appointed earlier this year to fill a vacancy, became the first incumbent national governor to lose a primary election since Hawaii Governor Neil Abercrombie in 2014.  The support of a radio ad by then-Pres. Obama — invoking the Hawaiian word for family to tell voters in the state where he was raised, that Abercrombie is “like ohana to me,” was worthless in Democrat dominated Hawaii.

Colyer’s concession speech was gracious and he pledged his support to Kobach and Wink Hartman for Lieutenant Governor, in the General Election.

SRAZ covered Kris Kobach in this August 19 post, titled, “AZ has a committed partner in Kansas’ governor’s race.” Included is a link to “Meet Arizona’s Benedict Arnolds,” containing telling details about the duplicity of AZ Secretary of State Michele Reagan when she was a member of the state senate.

Not only are conservatives elated over Kobach’s victory, those in Arizona are uniting behind businessman Steve Gaynor to replace calamitous Secretary of State Michele Reagan, whose ineptness left voters standing in line for up to six hours to cast their ballots in the March 2016 presidential primary. She also failed to mail over 200,000 election guides on time as required by law.

RINO Reagan has been in office since 2002 — doing damage. It’s time for a change.
