Giuliani, who is basically what you’d get if necrophilia and racist police shootings had a baby, fumbled his way through a paid speech for the MEK terror cult with all the grace of a drunken creepy uncle emceeing his way through a family wedding. In it he not only gloated over the starvation and severe impoverishment of Iranian civilians, but openly proclaimed that regime change was coming to Iran due to the actions of the Trump administration.

Having just watched the entire thing – without commentary – that was an extremely weird speech, but it was well received by the (presumably) mostly Iranian ex-pats in the audience. I’m not a fan of Giuliani, I think he enabled the coverup of 911, and I don’t think Trump should trust him as much as he appears to. I don’t think fomenting revolution is good idea generally, it usually leads to a lot of dead people, and the final outcome is often worse than where you started. Something has to give though, clearly the present situation cannot last indefinitely, I hope it is resolved peacefully.
I won’t shed any tears to see regime change in Iran, but I do not support criminal or unethical actions by the US. RG must be a psychopath to gloat over the hunger and suffering of innocent civilians. What scum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iran is a serious problem. You can argue about who made them a serious problem, but they now pose an eventual very serious threat. They’re not going to abandon nuke and missile research. If you believe their rhetoric, then they pose a dire threat to Israel, and by extension, the rest of the world by the ensuing WWIII. Threats and antagonistic behavior toward Iran only cements their determination. Perhaps there could have been hope for the, “Art of the Deal,” if Russia had not been antagonized. It seems it would be far cheaper economically and in human suffering to reconcile with Russia and compromise on competing interests between Russia, US, Israel, Iran, and Syria, than in going to war.
These special interest that seek war don’t care if a nuke or two explodes in America. That would be even better for business. It seems kind of ominous that an emergency broadcast test to everyone’s cell phone will soon take place. I understand the concept of nipping the problem in the bud before it becomes a full blown emergency, but the elite are expert at orchestrating such problems, knowing they will eventually become dire enough to force war action.

The sanctions on Iran are a good thing. They have devastated the value of Irans currency. We have learned from WW2 to always stop maniacal totalitarian regimes before they have the power to kill millions. I support the sanctions.
