Just a quick reminder…this video is over 6 year old so I don’t know where Schaeffer’s at in his awakening journey at this point. But the word government literally means to control the mind or mind control. Government is practically lived out as the idea that a certain group of people reserve for themselves the exclusive moral right to rule over everybody else and those who are being ruled have a moral obligation to obey those rulers. Part and parcel of government is this idea that you are immoral if you disobey the edicts of or resist the tyranny of those who call themselves government. The twin pillars of the institution called the state or government are force and theft. It cannot survive a single day without committing these immoral acts of violence, oppression and robbery.
And since none of us INDIVIDUALLY have the right to rule over others and take their stuff without committing an injustice then we cannot collectively delegate a right we individually don’t possess.
