James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

To resist the devil, often times, we must leave what we know, we must leave what makes us comfortable and walk away. The devil can make you feel so comfortable, so confident, so blessed, you begin to believe his lies.

1 Corinthians 6:12  “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.

Ultimately you are responsible for yourself. Will you “Fit In” following the crowd, even though you know what they do is wrong? Then change your environment, change your social group, ask God for wisdom in your life and the strength to do God’s will. When you are serious and are ready for change, the Holy Spirit will fill your heart and give you the strength to take that first step.

Hebrews 4:15-16 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God forgives when you ask him for forgiveness. You can forgive yourself once you accept the holy spirit, that is the day, you will set yourself free. Every experience God grants you, makes you stronger for when he calls his soldiers in the hour of need. Let God work through you. Accept those things you cannot change and change those things you can, but most importantly, trust God. Learn forgiveness, you have to forgive everyone in your life, once your are able to forgive, God will work through you even more.
