With a bronze Cerakote finish and Go Wild Camo I-M Brush modular adjustable stock, Ruger’s newest American Rimfire Rifle is feature-rich (Photos: Ruger)

Chambered in .17HMR, .22LR or .22WMR, Ruger’s American Rimfire Rifle series can now be had with factory-installed Go Wild Camo I-M Brush stocks.

Besides the camouflaged modular stock system and bronze Cerakote finish, the new offerings all come standard with an 18-inch cold hammer-forged barrel featuring a threaded muzzle and factory-installed muzzle brake. Like the rest of the Ruger American Rimfire line, the new series includes a one-piece aluminum scope rail and Ruger’s Marksman Adjustable trigger system that can be tuned by the user between three and five pounds.

Overall length is 38.37-inches while weight is 5.9-pounds, providing a handy bolt gun for plinking or small game hunting.

The rifles come standard, like other Ruger American Rimfire Rifles, with a 60-degree bolt throw and a tang safety. The lightweight synthetic stock is modular with interchangeable length of pull and comb modules.

The threaded barrel is compatible with Ruger’s Silent-SR suppressors as well as most that utilize a 1/2 x 28TPI pitch should the user want to swap out the included muzzle brake with a can. The barrels are free-floating through the use of Ruger’s Power Bedding integral block system.

The .22LR version uses a flush-mounted BX-1, 10-round rotary magazine and accepts all 10/22 mags. The .22WMR and .17HMR variants use Ruger’s 9-round JMX-1 rotary magazine and accept the company’s BX-15 Magnums as well.

MSRP is $469 across the board.

The new camo schemes complement the Ruger American Rimfire Rifle’s Muddy Girl Camo installment as well as Big Red’s Go Wild 10/22 series of autoloaders.
