Anybody woke who peruses the Rolling Stones’ back catalogue and actually reads the lyrics is going to have to make peace with their inner contradictions in a hurry.
Either that, or stop going to Stones concerts.
I’ve got acquaintances, of middle age and middle-of-the-road politics, who pride themselves on having attended every Stones concert that’s landed within a five hundred mile radius of here, ever.
