A now-disputed provision of The Bayh–Dole Act, passed in 1980, allows universities, government agencies and certain non-profit institutions the right to patent and profit from inventions derived from taxpayer-funded research. This legislation opened the door to huge conflicts of interest where unelected technocrats like Anthony Fauci and Bill Gates gained control over the US medical-industrial sector including the delivery of mandated vaccines.
 

Mikovits noted that a mandated vaccination campaign following the pandemic could result in $Billions in profit for institutions and promoters of Big Pharma. 

She also believes the Covid-19 pandemic could have been the result of research at Fort Detrick that was moved to the Wuhan Institute of Virology with the help of Anthony Fauci while he was director at NIAID.
