What is the one single, most important factor cuts through all the complacency in the church?
I believe that the biggest problem in the Church today is the massively large time Christians (just like everyone else) spends watching TV (add to that radio, phone, and internet).

I believe for most Christians, the time spent viewing is at least as important (or possibly more so) as what is being watched. Add to this the endorphin drip in the brain while watching 4 or more hours a day. This would tend to suggest that not only do Christians have their mind on a leash for 4 or more hours a day just during the work week, but there may be an addiction to pleasure (endorphins) as well. So while people are listening to you teach and nodding in agreement, they soon forget and spend no time pondering. Applying what they almost learned is a fantasy.
This problem needs to be dealt with if the Church is ever to be a light in the world and if the Church will ever have a chance at experiencing revival. See the pie chart in the video.
