Leading Scientists: COVID ‘Booster Shots’ Are Unnecessary

One of the most shocking developments of the whole COVID crisis has been the ease in which the current range of experimental COVID vaccines and mRNA gene therapy injections have been automatically waved through the normal regulatory processes in countries like the US and UK. The reason given last year was based on spurious claims that COVID-19 had become an unstoppable ‘raging global pandemic’ and therefore any medium or long-term research and safety testing had to be dispensed with in order to ‘save lives.’ What normally would take 5 to 7 years to develop safely – had suddenly been compressed into a mere 7 months. This questionable move by governments may ultimately backfire as the public begin to realize that they have been unofficially enrolled in what has now become the largest human pharmaceutical experiment in history.

In the past, an “Emergency Use Authorization” (EUA) would only be granted for a limited period, and only then for use within a specific section of the population who was deemed the most vulnerable to the disease in questions. However, under this current EUA regime, vaccines being allowed to bypass regular safety protocols indefinitely, as well as for any ‘top-up’ vaccines.

After months of silence, some high-ranking public health officials and qualified scientists are finally beginning to speak up and challenge the omnipotence of the dominant drug firms.

COVID-19 vaccine developers are making ever bolder assertions that the world will need yearly booster shots, or new vaccines to tackle concerning coronavirus variants, but some scientists question when, or whether, such shots will be needed.

These scientists went on to sow doubt on baseless claims being made by government ministers and numerous ‘public health’ experts appearing in mainstream media, repeating the specious claim that an endless steam of COVID booster shots would be necessary in order to keep pace with an endless stream of alleged coronavirus ‘variants of concern.’ The report further states:

Some of these scientists expressed concern that public expectations around COVID-19 boosters are being set by pharmaceutical executives rather than health specialists, although many agreed that preparing for such a need as a precaution was prudent.”

“We don’t see the data yet that would inform a decision about whether or not booster doses are needed,” said Kate O’Brien, director of the Department of Immunization, Vaccines and Biologicals at the World Health Organization (WHO).

O’Brien said the WHO is forming a panel of experts to assess all variant and vaccine efficacy data and recommend changes to vaccination programs as needed.

It appears that government ministers and public health mavens are being fed their booster shot talking points directly from the pharmaceutical giant who are keen to double their annual sales projections by floating out the idea that every person with need a vaccine ‘top-up’ or else they might be suddenly stricken by some new virus mutation circulating at any given time, and are calling on everyone to take their annual ‘COVID shot’ which they hope will exceed sales of the annual flu shot – all but guaranteeing billions of dollars in additional annual sales… in perpetuity. Pfizer executives are now aggressively driving this talking point through mainstream media outlets:

Pfizer Inc Chief Executive Albert Bourla has said people will “likely” need a booster dose of the company’s vaccine every 12 months – similar to an annual flu shot – to maintain high levels of immunity against the original SARS-CoV-2 virus and its variants.

However, a number of qualified scientists and public health officials are beginning to raise concerns over Pfizer and others’ aggressive fear-based marketing campaign, including former CDC chief Dr. Tom Frieden, rebuking claims made by pharmaceutical executives:

“There is zero, and I mean zero, evidence to suggest that that is the case,” countered Dr. Tom Frieden, former director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“It’s completely inappropriate to say that we’re likely to need an annual booster, because we have no idea what the likelihood of that is,” Frieden, who now leads the global public health initiative Resolve to Save Lives, said of Pfizer’s assertions on boosters.

But pharma giants are as yet unphased by Frieden’s warnings, much less any actual science regarding the alleged ‘deadly variants.’

Another manufacturer of the experimental mRNA gene therapy injections, Moderna Inc, has already announced it will be pushing booster jabs for variants, Moderna Inc CEO Stephane Bancel announced that the firm will be producing another experimental vaccine which they plan to test on the public by the fall – which he claims will be able target the South Africa variant and expects that ‘regular boosters will be needed.’ No doubt, this is great news for the company’s shareholders.

Pharmaceutical giants appear to have captured the government decision makers in the United States, the European Union, Britain and Israel, all of which have ordered hundreds of millions of doses of the latest COVID-19 vaccines – which they are already planning to deploy as ‘protective boosters,’ and planning to expend global sales by targeting tens of millions of young children just in time for the new school season this autumn.
