I fought wildfires for over a decade so I know a bit about them….I quit doing it because they quit letting us put it out.
Fire does not rip engines out of cars nor can it flip them over.
Metal buildings with metal roofs in the middle of paved parking lots do not catch fire due to wild fires.
Bodies lying alone on pavement do not burn until the top half exposed part is burnt to ash.
Cars that are plenty far enough away from the heat source that they would not have caught fire….

I seen a grass fire in 60 to 80 mph winds eat up an entire valley in less than 15 minutes and the lone farm house that was right in the middle of the valley was unscathed.
Where those winds artificially induced as well?……I would not be in the least surprised.
In over a decade of firefighting the only dead animals I ever seen was 1 chipmonk and a few lizards…..wild life is not stupid enough to stick around and deer come back into the fire zone while its still smoldering.

I live in Colorado and what Actually happened that started those fires were power lines were blown down during High hurricane force winds (which we Get out here every year) and because the state is in a drought it’s Extremely Dry and Colorado is a dry climate anyway so it was a recipe for the perfect firestorm !

This fire started on the west side of the vast grassland open space called Marshall Mesa. On the other side of the open space is the Town of Superior and the city of Louisville ( pronounced Louis + ville ). With wind gusts over 100 mph itt took very little time for the fire to tear across the open space grasslands, wipe out the entire Sagamore subdivision, much of Old Town Superior, and spread from there to other parts of Superior. The winds were crazy, and erratic, changing direction several times, which made evacuation of the towns difficult. The grassland blaze split, with part of it jumping Hwy 36 and racing up the open space to Davidson Mesa in north Louisville. The other portion burned through some of the commercial/retail area of Superior before sparks from the Element Hotel jumped Hwy 36 and wiped out the entire west side of St. Andrews at Coal Creek. Another fork of the fire moved south across the open space toward the huge Rock Creek neighborhood of Superior. Sparks from the grassland blaze jumped McCaslin Blvd and set homes on the east side of the road ablaze. From there the wind-driven sparks burned…
