Cue the next Jan. 6th event. Right on schedule. All smoke and mirrors to make you think that their is a line in the sand. There isn’t and they are all against you.
That’s the first thing that came to mind seeing this. These idiots are hopeless fools who’ve conveniently memory-holed what Trump ACTUALLY did while in office in contrast to his political rhetoric, and are oblivious to reality in their blind search for a political savior. On some level I feel they deserve exactly what they’re going to get considering the cult-like fervor they engage in by blindly following what is obviously controlled opposition. On the other hand; they are becoming an increasing majority, and their ignorance and stupidity will have ramifications for those that decided not to ‘drink the kool-aid’, unfortunately. I’m not so sure that passing a mandatory IQ test in order to be able to vote would necessarily be such a bad idea at this point.
Not sure it would matter much regardless, considering our election system is in shambles and decided/rigged well before our so-called votes are even cast at this point.

Perhaps an even better idea would be mandatory psych. evaluations for anyone wishing to hold political office. They do this for the police, and with the political power our misrepresentatives wield—such measures are even more pertinent. (Alas though; those responsible with conducting those tests would likely end up bribed and their findings corrupt/rigged as well.)
The glass is neither half-full or empty at this point; IT’S BEEN SHATTERED. I think perhaps it’s time to fashion a ‘new glass’.
On that includes TERM LIMITS for Congress (no more than two) as well as Supreme Court justices. Although I see a practical reason for longer term limits in the case of Supreme Court justices, I think it would be reasonable to limit their terms to roughly a decade. Furthermore, they shouldn’t be “appointed’, but voted on be the people.
