One day is long enough for something as ridiculous as that. There are very few cases of people being born with gender dysphoria. It is more commonly caused by some sort of sexual trauma that a person faced at an early age. I don’t think it is right that people make up some lie to justify their choice of who they sleep with. Lying about it is a sign that you’re ashamed of it and you make an excuse for your behavior rather than coming to terms with your choice. Making up some fictitious condition for your sexual preference does not resolve internal conflict that you may be suffering from. All it does is open the door to further problems. Childhood trauma can wreak havoc on a person into adulthood. I speak from experience. The first thing people have to do first is get honest with themselves. Without honesty there is no point. All we are accomplishing by making excuses is making things worse and increasing the number of children who are becoming victims and condemning them to a life of severe mental and emotional pain that is completely preventable.
