Should Pit Bulls Be Banned?
Pit Bulls have been deemed the Jekyll and Hyde of dogs worldwide. Having been credited with innumerable unpredictable attacks, a breed ban seems to be the only reasonable response. This is the most proactive policy that can be undertaken concerning the tragic problem of attacks which have become the norm. A ban saves lives by preventing attacks before they occur. By prohibiting future breeding, the ban would also save countless pit bulls from systematic euthanasia. Should the breed be banned?

I have an 85 pound black pit and he is everybody’s friend. Blacks, Mexicans, Whites, my 12 year old grandson, other children and yes even the mail man. I believe he would even befriend a burglar. However there are two across the fence that are vicious. I take him for walks and run in to some really bad ones. I think inbreeding is the problem. My dogs parents are from different parts of the US. I will say one thing though, you have to watch them around other dogs because if challenged they will respond. I would compare my Pits temperament towards humans to that of a Lab. If he ever does get vicious towards humans it’ll be off to the pit bull rescue farm for him.
It’s the owners you would be banning from having any contact with sentient life.
Look at the dogs put into pounds available for adoption sites: they are the excrement of human garbage i.e. pitbulls who will soothe their owner trash by eating the faces of their BASTARD family members.
