Upon verifying that Chase was with the couple, police reportedly allowed them to take him home.

Cini Walker, pictured above with her son, is a prominent anti-vaccine and medical marijuana activist with a following of 13,000+ on Facebook.

However, police apparently returned tonight – several weeks after the hospital incident – along with a Family and Corrective Services worker to seize Chase from Jacinda and Marc.

Video uploaded to Facebook shows the standoff that ensued as Walker argued loudly with police.

“I understand you’re upset,” said one officer. “But we can’t leave here without the child.”

The woman filming said, “the police are trying to take Chase, they’re going to put him on poisonous food and medicine again.”

Chase suffers from epilepsy, which Walker claims is helped by medical marijuana use.

The Daily Mail cites a police statement which said, “at 4:30 pm on Friday police attended a premises on Hunter Street in Newcastle in support of Family and Corrective Services regarding a child at risk.”

“After extensive negotiations a four-year-old child was taken to John Hunter hospital for medical assessment.”

In a subsequent Facebook post, a woman by the name of Karen Burge shares footage of an emergency vehicle with Chase in it arriving at a hospital.

In her caption for the video, and in other Facebook posts, Burge describes the situation as a “medical kidnapping.”

“Shame on the FACS workers, QLD services and those responsible,” she wrote. “You are all accountable for any needless suffering you have caused Chase, Cini, Marc and their family.”

The Daily Mail reports that Walker has vowed to remove her son from the hospital again unless they agree to give him medicinal marijuana.

“I will be doing this and if they choose not to do it I’ll walk out of that hospital,” she said. “I don’t care if child services have to get a court order to come get Chase, at least I know I saved my child and I’ll keep doing it, I will not stop.”
