Story of a Fallen Angel

Fallen Angels have become a very robust topic recently and they seem to be portrayed as entities that are evil and returning to wreak havoc on mankind. I have seen many stories that portray these fallen angels as demonic, locked up entities that are just waiting to be released after their eternal damnation for their decision to become mortals or humans. As I researched fallen angels, I discovered that many of the major religions have their own spin on these entities and most of them describe them as evil. The interesting thing about the very term in question, fallen angels, is that the bible does not actually use this phrase to describe these entities. Essentially, they are described as those that have fallen, the fallen ones, the watchers, and the list goes on. Although these entities are talked about throughout the scriptures, these entities are discussed in much more detail in the books of Enoch, for which most bibles only have a few of the chapters included. The main premise behind the documented details in Enoch are that angelic beings decided to incarnate in order to enjoy the lustful desires of the humans for which they watched over. According to the writings of Enoch the following outlines the rise and demise of these angels. 

“According to 1 Enoch 7.2, the Watchers become “enamoured” with human women and have intercourse with them. The offspring of these unions, and the knowledge they were giving, corrupt human beings and the earth (1 Enoch 10.11–12). Eminent among these angels are Shemyaza, their leader, and Azazel. Like many other fallen angels mentioned in 1 Enoch 8.1-9, Azazel introduces men to “forbidden arts”, and it is Azazel who is rebuked by Enoch himself for illicit instructions, as stated in 1 Enoch 13.1. According to 1 Enoch 10.6, God sends the archangel Raphael to chain Azazel in the desert Dudael as punishment. Further, Azazel is blamed for the corruption of earth.”

The bottom line is that the Angels that have so long care for and watched over human beings decided that they wanted to experience the cravings and desires of the human flesh. This reminds me of a story that I read about a drug enforcement officer that decided to try one of the confiscated drugs that he had in his possession. He basically wanted to see what all the fuss was about which caused others to chase after the effects of these drugs. Once he tried it, he was hooked for the rest of his life, thereby sentencing himself to a life of pain and regret for deciding to give in to his curiosity of what others were experiencing. God decided to banish the fallen angels to an eternal enslavement because of their decision to take on human form and lust after the carnal desires that humans experienced. 

The question for me then becomes, what is this actual enslavement? Most of would envision this as the Angels being placed in some underground jail without the possibility of parole and no possibility of death to relieve their suffering. However, I am offering a different possibility, the eternal enslavement in the eternal human reincarnation, continuing to chase after their desires, life after life, without any real satisfaction. Imagine reincarnating in life after life, in search of that perfect sexual connection, the very thing these angels initially incarnated to experience, but never actually being able to discover this perfect union in all the lifetimes that have lived. To me that would also represent an eternal enslavement, much different of course from the normal portrayal of what happened to these fallen angels; and perhaps, these fallen angels are not evil at all. I want to present you with a story, which could be fictious, or which could be true, only you can make up your mind which one it is. 

For the purposes of this story, our fictious character will be given the name of Jon. All his life he has had that strange feeling deep inside that he truly doesn’t belong here, that his consciousness is vibrating much higher than those around him, that he can feel and sense things that others cannot. Jon knows he is here for special reasons, yet he knows that he is highly sexual and begins to have visions, dreams and desires about sexuality at a very young age, and has discovered into his late 50s that this drive just does not leave him alone – ever. However, the life that Jon seems to have chosen this time around, limits and forces him into mental and physical boundaries that do not allow him to perpetuate much action for these desires and drives. Locked into many years of Christianity in many different forms, has forced Jon to stay tightly laced within the norms of society, religion and ethics, thereby keeping him from jumping on these burning desires. The strange thing is that he does not get to learn the true origin of these desires until he reaches his late 50s. Finding himself suddenly divorced from a marriage that kept his knowing checked in very tight boundaries, he had to learn, with great effort, who he really was. It was during this time that he finally learned to meditate, connect and converse with his guides and slowly but surely learn who he truly was. Jon was into his second marriage about 3 years when the new and shocking revelation finally came to him. He was sitting in the living room reading with his wife, as he drifted momentarily into a meditative state. He then found himself with a new spirit guide, that delivered a message that would change everything for him.

He was presented with a female angel that had a very appealing body dressed in tight jeans and a short sleeve shirt. She had very long dark hair, no face and dark wings. She informed Jon that she was now his new guide, a much higher-level guide than the current ones. He was told that she was the angel of conception and sexuality – research showed that this angel to be a prominent female angel in the literature – her name is Leilah – however she asked to just be called Angel. She informed Jon that he was once doing what she was doing – a watcher angel – one who had been among the fallen angels who came to earth to experience the physical and sexual side of humanity. She said therefore, you struggle with the need for the physical. She then grabbed Jon’s hand to take and show him something. He was led to a high area of ground overlooking a tremendously large valley that stretched as far as he could see. She informed Jon that this was the valley of souls and that there are billions and billions of souls located here. These souls are waiting until the next time of incarnation and are guarded by large angels who meticulously keep track of each one of them. Jon asked if they were lined up in order of incarnation, but she said they were not. Each looked like a glass ball with a dim lit color inside of this ball; as we walked through the valley, they all moved to make room for our path. Jon was part of the process of protecting and nurturing the energy of awaiting souls, to be truly responsible for preparing souls for their next experience.

“Before You Were Born retells the Jewish myth of Lailah, the angel of conception. According to this midrash, there is an angel, Lailah, who brings the soul and the seed together and then sees to it that the seed is planted in the womb. In doing so, Lailah serves as a midwife of souls. While the infant grows in the womb, Lailah places a lighted candle at the head of the unborn infant, so he or she can see from one end of the world to the other. So too does the angel teach the unborn child the entire Torah, as well as the history of his or her soul. Then, when the time comes for the child to be born, the angel extinguishes the light in the womb and brings forth the child into the world. And the instant the child emerges, the angel lightly strikes its finger to the child’s lip, as if to say “Shh,” and this causes the child to forget everything learned in the womb. Jon was beside himself; he was just told that he was on of the original 200 Angels that were part of a decision to take on the lustful desires of the human flesh. This information was bittersweet however, on one hand Jon felt ashamed, on the other hand he finally figured out why he had such a sexual burning desire within him that could never seem to be quenched. Jon is not a bad person in any respect; in fact, he is every calm, confident, caring, strong, levelheaded and reverent human being. In Jon’s mind, he now has a bit of an ethical dilemma, because he was always taught, through religion, that fallen angels were evil, yet now he has been presented with the fact that he is in fact one of these entities. He wants to share this story and let everyone know that fallen angels are not evil at all, that everyone has the story all wrong, yet he does not want everyone to ridicule him. Jon has finally settled on using his new great connection to better help others and to be grateful that he was able to finally learn to understand himself and his impulses much better.

The best part of this information and the new journey that Jon has undertaken, is that his spiritual gifts have flourished greatly. He is now able to connect, receive very detailed and accurate information and help others to understand themselves and begin their own healing process. 

I know that this story was presented as a fictious story, yet it may also be very true….only you get to decide….
