3 Days of Darkness prophecy in the Last DayS

the Act of God will be the three days of darkness over the whole earth. The Three Days have been announced by many mystics, Anna-Maria Taigi, Elizabeth Canori-Mora, Rosa-Colomba Asdente, Palma d’Oria, in Italy; Father Nectou, in Belgium; St. Hildegard, in Germany; Pere Lamy, Marie Baourdi, Marie Martel, Marie-Julie Jahenny, in France. Many of Saints [like St. Columba d. 597 A.D. have announced the Three Days. Ven. Mary of Agreda and other Catholics eminent for sanctity, have for centuries prophesied the dreadful coming chastisement of the Three Days of Darkness; where at least half to three quarters of the world's population will be killed by God's Just Wrath.

The Church does not oblige us to believe in any particular prophecy as a matter of faith [de fide], but we are indeed obliged to believe that prophecies may be made even in our own times, for this is in the Gospel [Evangelium]: the Holy Ghost will speak to many in the Latter Days. Moreover, when an identical prophecy has been made by widely separated people in time and space, when this particular prophecy was accompanied by other predictions which have already come to pass, and when the holiness of the mystics in question has been recognized by the Church, we would be foolish indeed not to believe that the prophecy must come to pass. Such is the case concerning the Three Days of Darkness. How else could we explain that an illiterate peasant woman of Brittany is describing the very thing that another mystic in, say, Germany or Italy is also describing. After the three days of darkness, St. Peter and St. Paul, having come down from Heaven, will preach in the whole world and designate a new Pope.

A great light will flash from their bodies and will settle upon the cardinal who is to become Pope. Christianity, then, will spread throughout the world. He is the Holy Pontiff, chosen by God to withstand the storm. At the end, he will have the gift of miracles, and his name shall be praised over the whole earth. Whole nations will come back to the Church and the face of the earth will be renewed. Russia, England, and China will come into the Church.” (Prophecy of Blessed Anna Maria Taigi 1769-1837 A.D. who was Beatified by Bendedict XV in 1920 THE WARNING This will take place between the proximate and the immediate signs. It will be a supernatural occurrence. During the Warning, many will be scared to their wits end, and many will wish to die, but the Warning itself will be completely harmless. The Warning must be viewed as the last act of mercy from God, a final appeal to mankind to do penance before the three days of darkness and the destruction of three-quarters of the human race.

At a time when the murder of unborn babies and the sin of Sodom and Lesbos have become acceptable and “legal”, we should not wonder why God is going to punish mankind. By that time, war and revolution will have already caused a high deathtoll, and Communism will be victorious, but all this will be as nothing compared with the deathtoll caused by the Three Days. The prophetess Sister Mary of St. Peter is mentioned in the revelations of Marie-Julie Jahenny of La Fraudais, in a most important of matters. It was revealed to her by Heaven the exact date of A Warning which will come immedietely before the 3 Days of Darkness Chastisement. Revelations of Marie-Julie Jahenny (June 15, 1882) Jesus: “ . . . I forewarn you that a day will be found and it is already appointed when there will be little sun, few stars, and no light to take a step outside of your homes, the refuges of My people.

The days will be beginning to increase (days get longer on Dec 22). It will not be at the height of summer nor during the longer days of the year (summer time), but when the days are still short (winter time). It will not be at the end of the year, but during the first months (of the year) that I shall give My clear warnings. That day of darkness and lightning will be the first that I shall send to convert the impious, and to see if a great number will return to Me, before the Great Storm (Chastisement) which will closely follow. (The darkness and lightning of) that day will not cover all of France, but a part of Brittany will be tried by it. (However) on the side on which is found the land of the mother of My Immaculate Mother (the land of St. Anne) will not be covered by darkness to come, up to your place (home of Marie-Julie) . . . All the rest will be in the most terrible fright. From one night to the next — one complete day —, the thunder will not cease to rumble. The fire from the lightnings will do a lot of damage, even in the closed homes where someone will be living in sin. My children, that first day (of chastisement) will not take away anything from the three others (the 3-Day Chastisement) already pointed out and described. That particular day was revealed to My servant, Catherine (Laboure), in the apparitions of My Blessed Mother under the name (title), ‘Mary Conceived Without Sin’. That day is (also) recorded in five well-sealed rolls of Sister St. Peter of Tours. That roll will remain a secret until the day when a person of God will lay her predestined hand on that which the world will have ignored, including even the inhabitants of that cloister.” (“Prophecies of La Fraudais of Marie-Julie Jahenny”, pp. 50-51) Note: The writings of Sister St. Peter of Carmel of Tours were hidden on August 5th, 1850, by the order of Mgr. Morlot. It is clear that the day of which Our Blessed Lord is speaking is A Warning. That day is the “first day (of chastisement)” which He is going to send to convert sinners “before the “Great Storm (the Great Chastisement) which will closely follow.” Jesus said that, on that day, He would give His “clear Warnings.”
