Yom Kippur, The Great Tribulation and the Antichrist The Jewish civil new year 5783 has come and gone, and to many, it was a bit of a disappointment that the Rapture didn’t take place on Rosh Hashanah (Yom T’ruahor the Day of Trumpets) this year. I am of those who expect the Rapture imminently, but I also understand that we cannot know the day or the hour of that event when Yeshua will come in the sky and call the believers up before the Tribulation. But after Rosh Hashanah comes Yom Kippur, and we should continue to pay close attention. Egypt launched a surprise attack against Israeli positions in the Sinai while northeast of the Sea of Galilee Syria began its assault against Israel in the Golan Heights. That time zone is 8 hours ahead of the U.S. Central Time Zone so it was on that Saturday morning that the news broke that there was yet another Mid-East war with Israel once again fighting for her survival. Also, asteroids are flying past Earth. Yom Kippur, the Jewish judgement day and Day of Atonement is about to arrive, and four asteroids are coming along with it, according to NASA’s asteroid tracker

FOUR ASTEROIDS SET TO FLY BY ON YOM KIPPUR

As Jews around the world look to the heavens on Yom Kippur, four asteroids will fly by, unseen and the remains of another asteroid will drift past. The asteroids 2022 SM21 and 2022 SO11 will pass by the earth on Tuesday night, the beginning of the Yom Kippur holiday. 2018 VG and 2022 SJ28 will make their passes the following day. SM21, estimated to be anywhere between 9 and 20 meters in width, is expected to pass at a distance of 1.86 million kilometers while traveling at a speed of 54,252 kilometers per hour. 2022 SO11 is house-sized and will pass within 1.1 million kilometers of our planet.

The next day, the bus-sized 2018 VG will pass within seven million kilometers of the earth. The 18-meter wide SJ28 will pass within 5.7 million kilometers of the earth. It is also interesting to note that on September 26, the holiday of Rosh Hashana, NASA carried out its Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) mission.

The DART mission used what is called the kinetic impactor technique which involves using a solar-powered electric propulsion system to smash the spacecraft into the asteroid in the hopes of deflecting it into a different trajectory, steering it away from the Earth’s orbital path.

“On Yom Kippur, the heavens are open to our prayers and our tshuva (repentance),” Rabbi Berger said. “Now is the time to pray like never before.”

Today is the birth day of the Messiah of the sign in Revelation 12:1-2. It has traditionally been held that Yom Teruah in Year 6,000 will herald the coming of the Messiah. Today, begins 10 days of awe when we make wrongs right before Yom Kippur.” To validate if the beginning of the Civil Year might start on Yom Kippur as suggested by TorahCalendar, then the next logical step is to find a Jubilee connection to Yom Kippur 2022;

However, firstly I need to explain the Daniel Chapter 12 connection to the 10-days of awe of 2022.

DANIEL CHAPTER 12 & THE 10-DAYS OF AWE IN 2022 One of my favorite books within the Bible is the Book of Daniel especially the 9th and 12th chapters. The 12th chapter identifies our moment in time and I have dedicated the entire 3rd chapter within my book, Messiah’s Jubilee, to interpreting and making fundamental connections based upon 1260, 1290, and 1335 days to Shemitahs patterns of prophetic weeks or 7 years. Chapter 12 Mathematical Formula for more on this topic. THERE ARE TWO RAPTURES According to my understanding, there will be two Raptures or Harpazos. It is my belief that the first one will be for the wise virgins and a second one for the unwise, who will become wise during the tribulation. I believe that the Appointed Feasts of YK 2022 and 2029 represent both of these events. Notice that the following scriptures seem to conflict with one another if not for two raptures. One indicating a peaceful time, and the later time of great suffering and struggle… They then make the following statement, “Rosh Hashanah is the first day of the Civil New Year Except in a Jubilee Year.” I am not entirely sure where is the scripture or even with the tradition of the Rabbis where this statement can be validated, yet I do see a connection between the two feasts of YT & YK. I will begin to explain this connection as well as this 2022 Jubilee.
