The bricklayer’s wife actually ended up writing to the show, explaining what happened and even thanking them for showing him a death full of laughter.

This man was famous all throughout present-day Austria for having the longest beard. Legend has it that the beard was well over four feet long!

One evening in 1567, news spread that there was a dangerous fire in his local village. Believe it or not, the man’s beard was so long that he had to sleep with it rolled up and tucked away in his pants or shirt pocket.

But with the news of the fire, the heard slipped out.

He was running to help the people of the town but ended up tripping on his own heard. He fell down the stairs of his own home and snapped his neck.

3. The Robot’s Revenge

One of the more ironic ways to die?

Getting killed by the thing that you’ve spent your whole life working to perfect.

Such was the case for Kenji Urada, who died at the hands of a robot arm in July of 1981. He noticed that there was some sort of malfunction with a robot arm at the Kawasaki factory in Japan, where he was an employee.

The machine was off when he went to go make his repairs.

But when he climbed over a fence to fix things, he ended up accidentally switching on the arm.

Sadly, the arm pushed him violently into another machine, and he was crushed to death.

He ate lobster, tons of meats, caviar, and tons of champagne.

But it was the dessert that killed him.

He had 14 traditional Swedish pastries and ended up dying of digestive problems — later that same evening.
