New Crop Circles Appear In Britain, UFO Craft Sighting And Anomalies

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe and various witnesses and researchers, shared news about recent crop formations and associated anomalies in the Wiltshire, England area. She spoke with Paul Jones and Andrew Pyrka, two crop circle enthusiasts who’d caught an unidentified aerial object on videotape when they visited the ‘Aztec Bird’ formation near Barbury Castle on June 14, 2009. A silver disc-shaped object hovered without moving for a time, vanished, and then reappeared again. According to Charles Mallett, Director of the Silent Circle Research Center, other witnesses reported seeing UFOs in this area. Photos and further details here.

On July 14, 2009, Yorkshire engineer Winston Keech set up infrared cameras on a pole overlooking East Field and was able to capture unexplained flashes of light, followed by two large dark spots that moved around in the wheat. At the time these images were recorded there was no sign of a crop circle formation, yet after the sun rose, an unusual ‘basket weave’ pattern with two arcs extending from it was spotted in the field. For more, including video footage, see Linda’s full report.

Another witness, Ryan O’Hara, part of a documentary production team, said they were camped out on top of Silbury Hill on the night of July 4th, 2009, and they heard no disturbances. Yet in the morning, a spectacular “Quetzalcoatl Headdress” formation was present only a quarter mile away. Longtime crop circle investigator/documentarian Lucy Pringle joined Linda to talk about unusual effects people feel when visiting the formations. In some 700 reports she has gathered, visitors report a variety of symptoms from healing episodes to severe headaches, and these reactions may be related to changed frequencies within the formations, Pringle believes.

Weather

Some cereologists have suggested that crop circles are the result of extraordinary meteorological phenomena ranging from freak tornadoes to ball lightning, but there is no evidence of any crop circle being created by any of these causes.

In 1880, an amateur scientist, John Rand Capron, wrote a letter to the editor of journal Nature about some circles in crops, and blamed them on a recent storm, saying their shape was “suggestive of some cyclonic wind action”.

In 1980, Terence Meaden, a metereologist and physicist, proposed that the circles were caused by whirlwinds whose course was affected by southern England hills. As circles became more complex, Terence had to create increasingly complex theories, blaming electromagneto-hydrodynamic “plasma vortexes”. The meteorological theory became popular and it was even endorsed in 1991 by physicist Stephen Hawking who said that, “Corn circles are either hoaxes or formed by vortex movement of air”. By the end of 1991 Meaden conceded that those circles that had complex designs were made by hoaxers.

Paranormal

Since becoming the focus of widespread media attention in the 1980s, crop circles have become the subject of speculation by various paranormal, ufological, and anomalistic investigators ranging from proposals that they were created by bizarre meteorological phenomena to messages from extraterrestrial beings. Many crop circles have been found near ancient sites such as Stonehenge, a prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire. They have also been found near mounds of earth and stones raised over a grave or graves, also known as tumuli barrows, or barrows and chalk horses, or trenches dug and filled with rubble made from brighter material than the natural bedrock, often chalk. There has also been speculation that crop circles have a relation to ley lines. Many New Age groups incorporate crop circles into their belief systems.

Some[who?] have related crop circles to spiritual reformations of the Gaia hypothesis, claiming that “Gaia”, the earth, is actually alive and that crop circles are messages or responses to stimuli such as global warming and human pollution. It asserts that the earth may be modeled as if a single super-organism, in that earthly components (e.g. biota, climate, temperature, sunlight, etc.) influence each other and are organized to function and develop as a whole. Responding to local beliefs that “extraterrestrial beings” in UFOs were responsible for crop circles appearing, the Indonesian National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) described crop circles as “man-made”. Thomas Djamaluddin, research professor of astronomy and astrophysics at LAPAN stated: “We have come to agree that this ‘thing’ cannot be scientifically proven. Among others, paranormal enthusiasts, ufologists, and anomalistic investigators have offered hypothetical explanations that have been criticized as pseudoscientific by skeptical groups and scientists, including the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.

      Video, or it didn’t happen…

Wow. Well that was new! 2009! I can hardly keep up.

Pheww! Those so called Crop Circle, were made by two old codgers after downing three or four pints of the Best Bitter, by using a string and a plank!
Their comment about making the Crop Circle was, “Piece of Cake!”

      • Bargepole

Wrong. Their comment about about making a (bad) crop circle was “The Daily Mirror paid us twenty quid”.

        Mine’s a brown’n'bitter, thankee guv.

Oh no, not more of those pesky delinquent art student aliens that travel gawd knows how many millions/billions of light years to get here, only to destroy crops with obtuse geometric land art. I think they need a new hoby.

Ooh Crop circles. Man but that symmetry rocks hard.

      Who is the artist?

They aren’t man made. They have appeared in fields overnight that have had shotgun carrying guards on the gate, put there by the landowners to stop anyone getting in and destroying their crop by making circles. These things are colossal, and very complex, many contain mathematical representations that once decoded are plain to see.
There is no way that anyone could create patterns of this magnitude, and complexity, in the dark, and without any of the overnighters seeing them.
As one farmers wife once said, “I wish people would stop making these circles, because the bread I make from the corn doesn’t taste like it used to”….

(“There is no way that anyone could create patterns of this magnitude, and complexity, in the dark, and without any of the overnighters seeing them.”)

I guess the “shotgun carrying guards on the gate,” were asleep as they missed the aliens landing and romping and playing with corn cobs. Perhaps the worthless guards with guns were drunk. Yep, that must be it.

PS, never mind that there have been multiple confessions by artistic non-aliens (humans to you) that they in fact, create crop circles. Even give details on how they do it.

But your alien scenario is more entertaining…carry on!

      • Mayhem

@Anonymous the 1000th but capitalized at least.

Of course not silly me. I mean if you can build a big space ship you might just as well make it all pretty and symmetrical eh? Hey mate I wasn’t taking a position. Read my words very carefully if I have an opinion I will surely let you know.

Post yourself numb if you want to though. I’m good.

Of course, any and all whom study and/or accurately understand these Spiritual Symbols of Ascension will have the needed answers.

This particualr symbol appears to be stating….”A Doorway”.

A “Dimensional Doorway” to dimensional realities.

      With respect….

        Hello Light, I see you.

I’ve tried to find a quick interpretive reference for crop circles. Any suggestions? I’m trying to look at possible themes in accordance with crop circle time lines.

The ones shown above are a couple of years old is that right? I can’t afford the data cap to watch meme’s as this is not my internet connection and it would be rude to hog more than my fair share.

        Be well.

        • Bargepole

Hi M-A-M. You’ll be taking something on if you start getting into crop circles. This is a huge field (obvious pun only half intended). One prime site is cropcircleconnector.com, and that’s been going since 1995, which is pretty venerable for a web site. Crop circles have been reported as early as 11th century, and worldwide. The big focus seems to be Wiltshire, England 70s to 90s for no apparent reason. Step into these murky waters and, like UFO hunters, you may disappear without a trace. On the other hand it could be worth a PhD. All the best.

it is so obvious…the alien space ships run on ethanol. Why did you think they keep visiting corn fields? Duh! They don’t have corn on their planet so the come here to stock up. Then they leave the pretty designs as a gift.
In fact, the last time they abducted me, we shared some good times over a bottle of corn mash. They love corn.
