Why It's Impossible to Live on a Spinning Globe Earth
Do we actually live on a globe that spins at 1000 mph and travels at 67,000 mph around the sun? Is this even possible? Can we prove it? Yes we can, using simple math and scientific principles, we can easily see which earth we live on. A globe that spins, or a flat stationary earth. Obviously, it can’t be both, it’s one or the other. So let’s see which one it is. There are many experiments we can do to determine which earth we live on, so let’s test this one out.
I will set up 3 targets. Each will be 1200 feet away from me. One will be east of me, one west, and one north. I will shoot at the targets with my .22 rifle using bullets which travel 1200 fps. The bullets should strike the targets one second after I fire at them. I fire at all three targets. Each one is hit one second after I fire which is how long it takes the bullet to reach the target. I could shoot hundreds of rounds and get the same results. In
fact I could shoot any target in any direction at 1200 feet and get the same results. The only difference is that this only works on a stationary earth. Once you try to apply this experiment to a spinning globe earth, everything changes. Here’s why.
Science tells us that the spinning globe they say we live on moves at 1000 mph or 1500 fps from west to east. So if I shoot east, my bullet will travel 1200 feet in one second, but the target which is on the earth will move 1500 feet in that one second. Therefore, I could never hit my target because the earth moves faster than the bullet in that direction. If I fire west, then the bullet and the target are approaching each other. If they both travel at the same speed, then they would meet in the middle. The bullet is travelling a little slower, so the bullet will take less than half a second to hit the target. If I fire at the north target, the bullet will take one second to arrive, but by then the target will have moved eastward by 1500 feet so I will miss the target. This is what happens on a spinning globe that some of you claim you live on.
Science also tells us that it’s not only the earth that moves west to east at 1000 mph, but also everything on it and the air around us and yes, even those soft billowy clouds. They tell us that when we throw a ball up in the air, the reason it comes right back down to us is because the ball is also moving west to east at 1000 mph like we are. So even though we have moved 1500 feet so has the ball. So what is moving the ball when it’s in the air? It’s impossible for the air to do that because air acts differently on all objects of different sizes, shapes, and weights. Yet I can throw many different objects in the air and they will all come right back down. Also I could stand next to a huge building and block the supposed 1000 mph wind and still get the same results. Or I could drop a 5000 lb weight from a crane and it would fall straight down, the air would have no effect on it. So that is
impossible. Gravity cannot do it as it does not work sideways on an object only downward (if you believe gravity exists). So what is moving the ball from west to east at 1000 mph? This is where the spinning globe believers get stuck for answers.
To further demonstrate how absolutely impossible this theory is, consider how it would affect us if it were actually true. Monkeys could not jump from tree to tree like they do now. They would not be able to jump to the east or north because the tree would move before they got there. The same with antelope and other animals that spring through the air they would keep hitting trees and other animals. Birds could not fly east or west like
they do now or they would go nowhere. Airplanes could not land on any north/south airstrips. How about baseball, football, soccer, high jump, tennis, golf, and so many other sports. How would they all adjust for the movement of the earth. Utterly Impossible. It would be like living on a moving treadmill. This is why we live on a flat stationary earth where we can move in any direction any time with the same results each time.

Dubay gained a following by making alot of sense (not complete sense) on the flat earth subject and religion but then comes out and claims that dinosaurs are not real. In this way he discredited the whole idea of fe. It is pretty easy to prove that dinosaurs were real.
So everyone who believed him and repeated him about dinosaurs because he gained their trust and respect were immediately discredited. I don’t believe that he is stupid so it must have been intentional.

Try this, drive in a car and while driving toss a ball up, or have someone toss a ball straight up. If your car is going say 55mph does the ball fly back at 55mph? Or just go up and back down like it would be if standing still? Whats happening is everything in the car is already moving with the velocity of 55mph. So in other words if you come to a dead stop everything will slam the front of the car. Earth = car.. except we’re moving a whole lot faster.

Jawbones. I read your previous comment, but this does not explain why on a spinning globe it is not possible to hit the targets when I shoot east or north. Can you explain that? The math is correct. Science tells us the earth moves 1500 fps and the bullet ballistics tell us the bullet moves at 1200 fps, so we have correct numbers to work with.
Its the same principle of the car. So say your aiming the gun north. You and the bullet are already traveling 1500fps side ways as you stand there aiming the gun at the target. As the bullet leaves the barrel its still traveling 1500fps sideways along with the earths rotation plus 1200fps forwards towards the target.
Going back to the car, if i was riding in a car that could go 1200fps and i shot the gun out the window pointing it forward, the bullet wouldnt just stay still because im already moving 1200fps. it would double the speed of the bullet. making it 2400fps.

Secondly what force could move a bullet 1500 feet in one second when it’s going 1200 fps in the other direction? Thirdly if the bullet goes at an angle to hit the target, then it no longer travels at 1200 fps because that distance is longer and the mfg’s testing shows that it does indeed travel at 1200 fps. And fourthly, do you really think that this mysterious force pushing the bullet sideways at 1500 fps could do so with such accuracy that it would hit the target. If so then what happens when a quarterback throws a football in that direction? It sure doesn’t look to me like the football moves diagonally when he throws it straight? Jango: It wouldnt only be the bullet as the target is moving as fast as the bullet is so thats why it appears and actually is shooting straight. The force is velocity/inertia, since the air is moving relatively the same speed as the earth give or take a few mph it really doesnt effect the side ways motion any more than kentucky windage. The video i posted above does a good job at explaining this. If someone was in another car beside them they could throw that ball back and forth no matter the speed at which they are traveling as long as the wind resistance allowed it, which for what we’re talking about isnt really a factor.

Your answer does not work on all three directions because you have a different result each time so the same theory does not apply to all 3, you would need 3 theories. On a stationary earth it works just fine, but not on a spinning globe for this reason.
Lets try this a different way, if you could make a car the size of a football field and move it 55mph on a never ending perfectly flat piece of road. once it got to speed you would be able to walk around fine just like on a train or plane and not even really notice its moving, a football would throw the same just like in the video, and a gun would be able to hit a target on all four sides.
The only way to test this theory correctly would be to pull a flatbed with a car and set up targets. If the car was going at 15mph the object would have to be thrown at the target at 12 mph. And then test this in all 3 directions. If I was contracted to build a mechanical machine with these requirements I don’t believe it would work because 12mph can never catch 15mph. If one part was moving at 15 fps and the second part was 12 feet away from it and released toward the first part, it would have to travel faster than 15fps to catch up or else it would always stay at less than a 12 foot distance away. Or this. If the first part moved at 15 fps and the second part moved at 15 fps they would always be the same distance apart. The only way it could catch up is to go faster. But it doesn’t. This is why shooting eastward the bullet would have to go faster than 1500 fps or it will never reach the target. But it only goes at 1200 fps. In other words, the earth is supposedly travelling at 1000 mph but the bullet at 800 mph. How can it reach the target? If it travelled at 1000 mph it would still stay 1200 feet back because it’s travelling the same speed as the earth but it started it’s journey 1200 feet back of the target and that is where it would stay. It would have to go faster than 1000 mph to catch the target. This is shooting east in the direction of the spin. Or this. If the first car is going at 55 mph and the second car behind it at 45 mph, what would happen? The second car would never overtake or even keep up with the first car. This is comparing apples to apples.
You would be right if they were never connected to begin with but thats just it, the object is already moving 15mph on the trailer before you throw it 12mph, to an observer on the outside the object would be moving 27mph towards the forward moving target and 3mph towards the rear target, and 15mph on either side. to the person on the trailer it would appear as 12mph the whole time.

Lets take a 2D model (I know you like that).
A simple immobile table (a very long one).
Now, on this table you have a remote car moving at 10km/h
This toy car as a gun turret that can shoot pellets.

Speed of a shoot pellet base on the table referential

If the car has an opposite movement to the earth then just subtract to have relative speeds.

You still have not explained how 12mph can catch 15mph. The only way would be to go 27 mph which it doesn’t. It goes 12 mph and started out at the back of the trailer about 12 feet away. It could never hit the target in the direction of travel unless it went faster than 15 mph. Same as two cars following each other. For the 12 mph car to reach the 15 mph car it would have to go faster. But it doesn’t. Show me how this can work?
I read this link and here’s the thing. He said the bullet travels at 2,000 mph. But we know that our bullet does not do that. Because the mfg tested it (on a spinning globe?) and found it only travels 1200 fps. Not faster. So it doesn’t matter which direction we shoot, it will not go any faster. So shooting eastward it will not go faster than 1200 fps because the mfg already tested that. In fact if we wanted to replicate the tests, I am confident that no matter what direction you shoot that bullet it will go at 1200 fps. But if we shoot east, the earth is moving at 1500 fps. Well you have to picture the train as the earth and forget that the ground even exists because the ground would be space. Its just relativity, so the earth is moving 1500fps and we’re standing still on it moving 1500fps and shoot 1200fps from our gun standing still on the earth. The target doesnt move any further away from where we’re standing and the bullet has only one choice and thats to still go 1200 fps away from us. The target itself doesnt move away and we dont move anywhere the only thing that can move is the bullet. see the earth is spinning at 1500fps relative to space which is i guess absolute 0mph. what we base our speed to on earth is based off of earth not the speed at which we’re moving in space. so trying to compare the speed of something on earth to speed in space are two different things. if i was floating in space and shot right beside the earth in the same direction as the rotation thats when what your saying would be true as the earth would be spinning faster but only because im not standing on it.

Since you quoted scripture, you must have some knowledge of the Bible. So how do you explain the scriptural references to the World that God made? God made the world we live on. Scientists didn’t. He did Not make a globe. He made the earth, sun, moon, and stars. No planets. The earth He made is stationary and the sun and moon and stars travel above the flat stationary earth. If you don’t believe in God or the Bible that’s your business, but since you quoted scripture I am assuming you do. Are you then going to deny that God made the universe and instead believe that it just happened (big bang)? If you do, then believe what you want to, but if you are a Christian, then you should at least consider what the Bible says about it shouldn’t you? Jango, the Bible tells us that God made the Earth, but nowhere does it
say it was a flat disc. And it does not say that he did not make planets,
it just doesn’t say at all. Back when it was written, planets were thought
of as moving stars, and the word “planet” means wandering (star), so
when he said he made the stars, it was inclusive of planets too. The Bible
did not separate one from the other. Back then “stars” meant lights
in the night sky, and planets qualified in that description. Not everyone
believes in the big bang, in the globe system.. So quit trying to equate
all globers with the big bang.. It’s not so.. And a question, you said
God created the universe? If he did, what is a universe to you?’
A universe to me, is a gargantuan creation, with galaxies, stars, planets,
and of course the earth.
I know you have no room for real science, but if you did, I could
tell you that the most common thing in any galaxy is the sphere.
If you take any amount of water and let it loose in zero gravity,
it will immediately form a sphere. Just as hot gasses, with enough
mass form spheres in space and coalesce into stars. Planets form
in the same manner. Hot molten metals, also will do the same
and form a sphere, like planets. Now we all observe these things
to be true, with our own telescopes, so NASA doesn’t even
have antything to do with those observations. So since
we are seeing that for ourselves, let me ask you;
Why would God make everything in the universe a sphere,
but not the earth?

Hi Jango. I have read your arguments. You are overlooking the key fact that the velocities are ‘relative’, not ‘absolute’. You need to select a suitable ‘frame of reference’ on which to base your arguments. To use your example above, who says the gun can’t hit the target east and north on a spinning globe?… Would you stand in front of said gun? I certainly wouldn’t. Consider this: I am in the back seat of a moving vehicle, travelling forward at say 100mph (relative to the road surface). I pass a cup of coffee to the driver in the front seat. Relative to the road surface, the coffee is travelling a little faster than the vehicle, at say 101mph. Relative to those aboard the vehicle, the coffee is passed forward at say 1mph. It’s all relative. Same applies to all the explanations in this blog… it’s all relative.
I must admit, though, it is amazing that we can have a tangential velocity of approx. 1000mph relative to the centre of the earth, and feel like we are standing still. That’s because we are in steady state motion… same as if you are in an aeroplane in steady state motion, travelling close to the speed of sound… feels like you are standing still (if the pilot is any good!)
Theory: Maybe, after millions of years, the atmospheric gases have also accelerated, due to friction with the surface, to a speed matching the rotation of the planet. Then, what we feel as wind today are only the slight changes from that atmospheric rotation speed and direction.
This does not explain why I can’t hit the north and east targets on a spinning globe. I can on a stationary earth but would not be able to on a spinning globe due to the rotation at 1500 fps west to east. This would definately affect the trajectory would it not?

I even provided an experiment in his own house he could do to demonstrate it,

That’s the thing. No one can deny the math. The math simply does not work on a spinning globe with this example. It’s easy to talk about millions of miles or millions of years because no one can prove that, but when you have all the numbers that’s a different story. I read once that most people will still not change their mind even when evidence is produced if they have a strong enough opinion about something. And we have all been brainwashed since grade one. Some get it right away, and some take longer.

So if I am on a plane traveling 400 mph, and I throw a baseball in the direction of travel, the ball will exit the back of the plane, because I am old, and weak, and can only throw a baseball at 20 mph? OK, I understand your reasoning now

If you are on a bicycle doing 30 mph and your friend was riding behind you at 25 mph could your friend ever catch up with you? If I shoot a bullet at 800 mph eastward toward a target that is moving at 1000 mph eastward can the bullet ever hit the target? No to both. This is what happens when you shoot east on a spinning globe going at 1000 mph or 1500 fps with a bullet that is going 800 mph or 1200 fps. The bullet was tested by the mfg and found to travel at that speed. This can only work on a stationary earth which is probably where the mfg did his testing.
I am not clear in what direction the gun test was performed in? but too me sounds like a load of horse $4!^. lets say you could throw a ball 90mph, but you did this while travelling on a train at 100mph. if you threw that ball directly forward, are you saying it would actually travel backwords? I would have thought you would still be throwing the ball at 90mph but the fact that the train is already travelling 100mph, then then the ball would then be travelling at 190mph?
another attempt at this as the above would have been based on me being inside an empty carriage throwing the ball inside also.
but f you were walking at 4mph along a travelator with your luggae at the airport and the person not walking on the travelator was also walking 4mph who would get to the end quicker?
or if you shot at a target while on the travelator and the target was also on the travelator forward or backwards it would hit the target at the same time. however if you were shooting at a target not on the travelator then the time would vary depending on whether the target was in front or behind you.
so if we think of the earth as the travelator….

Personally I don’t give a monkeys whether the earth is flat or round, I think if it was flat then the proverbial moggy would be out of the bag by now somewhat like Colonel Saunders so called secret recipe that is allegedly secret despite millions of people working for KFC over the decades. You are right spooky, being born again is all that really matters, especially since the Lord’s return is so near. If people realize that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” they may realize that they should get to know this God that created this wonderful world for us. II. The relationship between an object’s mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.
III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
If the earth were a globe rotating on a tilted axis as we have been taught, then from inside of the arctic circle near the outer edge where the sun is visible 24 hours a day in the summer time we should see the suns path as a clockwise rotating oval, not the up and down that is observed.
The sun supposedly travels east to west across the sky because of the direction of the earth’s rotation. At night in the arctic circle we would be moving in the opposite direction in relation to the sun, so if we could see the sun at night (which we can from inside the arctic circle) then the sun would appear to be traveling the sky from west to east.
So what we should see if the earth were a globe is the sun traveling from east to west then slowing and lowering and eventually changing direction to form an oval. This is not what we see. So the globe is debunked.
I will go with what is proven, not what I was told by a bunch of lying freemasons.
Airplanes:
If the earth were a globe aprox. 25,000 miles in circumference, a plane traveling at 300 mph in a straight forward east west trajectory at the equator would be gaining altitude at a rate of 8” x 300m x 300m = 6000 ft. an hour = 1.14 miles an hour = 100 ft. a minute = 1.67 ft. per second.
This rate would increase exponentially the further north or south you get away from the equator due to the smaller circumference of the globe earth near the poles when traveling in a strictly east to west direction.
So unless pilots are constantly adjusting for curvature and pointing the nose slightly downward in order to compensate (which they aren’t because the earth is flat) they would be constantly gaining altitude.
MORE ADDED
If we were on a spinning globe then people in north America should be being pulled slightly southward (northward in Australia) by the centrifugal force which would be pulling us outward at a 90 degree angle from the axis of rotation which from our perspective would be slightly south. We would always be a little of balance.
This force should be easily detected and measured if it existed but it isn’t and it hasn’t because it doesn’t exist.
Lunar eclipses sometimes happen when the sun and moon are both visible in the sky, this proves that it is not the earth’s shadow causing the eclipses.
If we were on a spinning ball orbiting the sun that is orbiting the galactic center that is traveling through space at high speed, (which is not a uniform motion) we would be constantly changing direction, speeding up and slowing down and it would be noticeable.
Not to mention that the constellations could not have remained the same for thousands of years in that scenario and that the stars closest to us should appear to be passing by faster than the ones that are supposedly billions of light years away instead of them all appearing to move at the same speed.

When we fly airplanes, the main guage used to stay in level flight above the
globe is called an altimeter. Piloting a plane, requires constant adjustments to
stay in your assigned altitude corridor. Any deviation from your assigned
altitude gets the FAA really pissed off. So you are constantly making corrections
to keep the plane at the same altitude. Or you can set the “auto pilot” to
do this for you. Either way, you won’t fly into space, because you are
keeping your nose level with the horizon to maintain a level flightpath.
Now if we kept out nose level to the horizon on a flat disc, your’d crash!
But pilots are taught that in order to fly level, you must keep your
planes nose level to the horizon. When you do that, on a flat disc,
you would get to the edge of the disc, but since the earth is a globe,
you can fly all day long with your nose on the horizon, and never
find an edge. PS.. When aloft, your view is about 250 miles in
all directions, as the globe tapers from view after that distance.

On any given day with scattered high altitude clouds, face west at near sundown. Mark the moment when the sun disappears completely below the horizon.
Are the clouds still brightly lit even though you now stand in twilight with no direct sunlight hitting you?
Are the clouds lit from the top, or the bottom?
Explain what you see in terms of a flat earth.

To be honest I was recently astonished to discover how much of a “thing” this flat earth discussion has become in some circles. I kept seeing the videos (and laughing) until I began seeing people I know to be otherwise rational and intelligent actually considering the topic.
It piqued my curiosity to the point it was like your tongue probing the hole left by an extracted tooth and I eventually broke down and watched one of the flat earth proponent’s videos.
I was astonished to find how seductive this lie can be to those who don’t have a good funamental grasp of physical science, including laws of motion, refraction of light, properties of light, parallax, the effects of the observer’s position and how that affects the observations themseleves, etc.
Anyway, I started looking for “proofs” I could share that anyone with average intelligence and no fancy scientific equipment could do for themselves and the example above was the first one I found (and so far the best one I’ve found).
I’ve got another one that isn’t quite as simple and elegant as the “sunset/cloud illumination proof” but it’s still pretty good. I’ll make time to write it up and place it here somewhere tomorrow.
