I would like to suggest that everyone, so willing, would go out and get this app or an Android equivalent app, install it on your smart phones, set it up properly and learn to use it correctly, then start using it in your observations and experiments. This will help establish some universal standards and reference points that can be agreed upon and that will help clear up some of the gross misunderstandings in the way data is gathered, analyzed and interpreted.
Once people start to get the correct reference points established a lot of the faulty expectations can be eliminated and some real progress can be made.
I’m fully aware that there are those who have nefarious agendas involved and they’re not interested in the real truth so they will probably not be too interested in the idea of people becoming proficient in use of Theodolites and actually doing their own accurate observations………..so go on out and do it anyway.
This won’t clear up any of NASA’s credibility problems or any of the other issues not directly related to earth’s ultimate shape but it will help those using the apps to be more able to correctly observe and orientate themselves in their earthly environment and that improved situational awareness is good for everyone.

I could not find any good tutorial vids on the correct set up and use procedures for this app suitable for newbbies to this field so you will have to explore YouTube for instructional vids on the use of a Theodolite. Getting the basics down for a regular Theodolite scope will be necessary in order to understand the basic principals and procedures of surveying.
The next five vids do not show the proper use of this app for surveying type activities however the videos farther down will show the app in use showing and proving horizon drop.

No, you don’t need a silly app. All you need is a coastline of a large lake or ocean and compare what you see to the Pythagorean Curve chart. If you can stand on a dock and take your telescope and see boats docked across a lake of ten miles, there is no curve. The coast line of the ocean is even easier to see the actual water line and beach ten miles up the coast.
This Knarlyclown tries to complicate the issue but a beach waterline easily gives the whole scam away.
Fool School convinced us that anywhere beyond three miles across was “over the horizon” but a Nikon p900 or Cannon sx500 will quickly prove this to be just one of the many lies that we were brainwashed with.

Here’s a great experiment for those so inclined……….if we live on a flat plain earth and the sun is actually only 3-4 thousand miles away (as so many FE’ers claim), then one should be able to take a telescope or a Nikon P900 or Cannon SX 500 aim it in the direction of the recently set sun, zoom in on it and observe it (way out there), still above the horizon, right ?
It amazes me how the FE community reject, (as being evil, not to be trusted), the scientific community on the one hand and yet continue to use, embrace and love most of what that “evil scientific community” produces for them (all the modern conveniences including their Nikon P900s, Cannon SX 500s, smart phones, automobiles and “social media”, etc., etc.) .

If you will go to Youtube and put that in the search bar, you will see videos of people doing just that. It looks like the sun has just about set yet when you zoom in, it comes right back up. Apparently, you never have.
