Kushner’s Planned Coronavirus Gun Grab

“We may have to grab their guns,” Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law, strategic advisor, and member of the coronavirus task force said to acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolfe in response to a classified Homeland report suggesting that a growing number of American patriots, militias, and freedom fighters are planning an armed insurgency against the government.

The report, compiled by Homeland strategist Craig T. Billings, said FBI agents in 16 states had infiltrated numerous citizen militia units, which the DHS has labeled domestic terrorists, to validate social media claims of a planned coup on the democratically elected leadership of the United States. In mid-March, as the “invisible enemy” trekked across the nation and state and federal governments enacted unprecedented, sweeping lockdowns, the FBI began receiving what it called credible tips from agents who had insinuated themselves into rightwing extremist groups in middle America. The FBI singled out the Idaho Lightfoot Militia, a decentralized paramilitary unit with no recognized leader, after a man with the Snapchat handle “IDpatriot229” pushed a series of stories encouraging fellow militia to wage war on state and federal government.

“Trump promised us he’d drain the swamp, but he has become the swamp. In aligning with FEMA, Trump has become a sworn enemy of the United States,” one post read.

“We are armed, trained and ready to defend the Constitution. Ready your rifles,” read another.

“The president is supporting this imposed Martial Law. Prepare for action,” a third post said.

The FBI determined his snapchat account, which the company has since deleted, was linked to 1,300 others, and the agency is attempting to track and investigate anyone that received his messages. An FBI spokesperson said “subversives” gravitate to Snapchat because posts are removed automatically after 24 hours, giving people the illusion that online behavior is ephemeral.  But Snapchat’s servers retain copies of all messages sent across the network.

Invoking the Patriot Act, the FBI and DHS compelled Snapchat to surrender the message histories of “IDPatriot229” and sixty persons linked to him. Based partly on the transcripts and partly on testimony of FBI agents who had clandestinely infiltrated the Lightfoot Militia, the FBI and DHS believed that militia units were conspiring to launch a coordinated, armed rebellion on state officials in Idaho, Montana, Colorado, and Florida.

“These militias think the current lockdowns are Martial Law and in violation of their Constitutional rights and freedoms. These crackpots don’t understand what’s being done is being done to protect lives, not strip people of their rights. They have this idea they can take matters into their own hands and start a civil war,” said a source familiar with the investigation.

No immediate arrests were made, but the FBI and DHS gave the report to Jared Kushner, who has been running a shadow coronavirus task force off the books, behind the scenes, and with closed door meetings. It has operated adjacent to the official government task force spearheaded by Vice President Pence, and citizen watchdog groups widely believe Kushner is a key player in the development of a tracking system by which the government will monitor the whereabouts of both coronavirus carriers and those who have developed antibodies.

A source familiar with the report says Kushner and Wolfe are “deeply concerned” about “militant citizens” revolting against the government, and that Kushner has designs on disarming all Americans, not just people that express anti-government sentiment.

“When people discover we want the economy closed for a year so more and more people become dependent on government help, on our checks, there will be more and more of these lunatics looking to use their weapons on us.  The ownership of firearms is a privilege; it’s not a right. They’ve abused that privilege, and we must take the guns,” Kushner reportedly said.

Moreover, Kushner asked Wolfe if Trump had already seen the DHS report. When Wolfe said Trump had not yet reviewed it, Kushner grinned wickedly and said, “Let me bring this to his attention. It will soften the blow coming from me.”
