Our Testimony to the World in the Age of CV-19

Here’s what I’ve noticed because of this pandemic. It has gotten much easier to be bold in sharing the Gospel. In fact, it’s also easier to discuss biblical prophecy as it relates to the future of the world.

I’ve spent some time discussing God’s plans for the future on this blog as many others have been doing on their own blogs. It’s gotten to the point where, because of the situation in the world, it is obvious that Satan is working behind the scenes to create the final one-world government that is now coming to fruition. It may be several years or longer before this final kingdom takes the world’s stage but it appears that it is being built now in earnest.

In Australia and New Zealand, where the First (or Second) Amendment does not exist, people are being treated like prisoners. Those who attempt to protest peacefully for their rights in large gatherings are met with SWAT teams, harassment and arrest. Some are arrested at their homes with no-knock warrants.

Be thankful that we live in the United States, even though the Constitution appears to be barely hanging on and some believe we are in post-constitutional America. People are rising up against what they consider to be tyranny illegally imposed on society by mayors, city councils and governors who have allowed power to go to their heads.

But this also extends to the rules imposed on people by hospitals. My wife is going in for another surgery this October unless of course another “outbreak” occurs, forcing society to once again, close up tighter than a submarine underwater. We’ve been told that I will not be able to wait in the waiting room, so I’ll likely have to drop her off, go home, then return to pick her up.

What is frustrating of course is that these draconian mandates do nothing except stifle people and their ability to be with loved ones. There is absolutely no logic to it at all and many folks see that. It doesn’t matter to those imposing the rules though because they continue to hide behind the mantra of “keeping us safe.”

I’ve asked the folks at the hospital how often they are tested for CV-19. One would think that healthcare workers directly in the main high-risk group of people who would be open to contracting CV-19 (or something else), would be tested daily. They aren’t and instead, they have their temperatures taken, wear masks and wash their hands frequently.

Clearly, many could be asymptomatic while harboring the CV-19. But because they wear masks (and even shields over their masks), have their temperatures taken and wash their hands frequently, they feel confident they are not at risk of giving or receiving CV-19.

I live with my wife. We sleep in the same bed. We are around each other often. If one of us had CV-19, chances are good that the other would contract it. My wife will likely have to have another CV-19 test the night before she goes in for surgery. If she doesn’t test positive, chances are nearly 100% that I don’t have it either. In spite of this fact, I will be kept from waiting for my wife in the waiting area.

So, I say all of this to really say this: I have arrived to the point where I have absolutely no problem telling people what this pandemic is all about and where it is leading and sharing biblical truth with them whether they want to hear it or not. I have a planned bulleted list to share with them.

The CV-19 Virus is ABOUT:

• Controlling society, not safety
• God allowing Satan to build his final kingdom first noted in Daniel 2
• God’s coming judgment on this planet that has been begging for it for generations
• The world’s “cup” being full to overflowing
• The return of Jesus at the end of the Tribulation
• God calling people to Himself for salvation
• Christians cementing their relationship with God in Christ
• Walking humbly before our God and Savior
• Telling people of their absolute need for Jesus
• Fulfilling the Great Commission
• Bringing the powers of darkness who exist in the dark and forcing them into the light
• God bringing down His hammer of justice on all who fail to repent and come to Him

As I was reading Ezekiel 32 and 33, I’m reminded of the fact that God literally raised the prophet Ezekiel up to be a “watchman” for Israel. I notice with great interest that part of his commission was that his job demanded that he warn people and say what God told him to say every time God “opened his mouth” (put His words on Ezekiel’s heart and mind).

Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved. (Ezekiel 33:7-9 NIV)

Can you imagine the immense responsibility that Ezekiel must have felt? ALL Christians have that same responsibility. WE are the watchmen on the wall for the world that is on its way to judgment and hell. Without us broadcasting the Gospel message (in our life and with our words), no one would hear the Gospel. Imagine that.

Ultimately, this points to a reckoning when we personally stand before our Lord and our God. We will find out then how many times we failed to extend the Gospel to other people and will bear the responsibility of that inaction. This does not mean we will lose our salvation, but it does mean that our inaction at times will cancel certain rewards that we might’ve had if we had obeyed.

I think all of us know that being a Christian is not about the rewards we might gain (apart from the absolutely phenomenal reward of salvation alone that comes to us through faith in Christ’s finished work on our behalf). We are grateful and will truly realize just how grateful when we stand before God at the BEMA Seat of Judgment (1 Corinthians 3). I cannot fathom all ramifications, can you?

Christians automatically become watchmen to those who are perishing and our heart should break at times because of the hardness of people’s hearts. We should be ever willing to preach the Gospel in and out of season even though most in the world will never acknowledge the truth and look at us as though we are complete morons for believing what they consider to be “fairy tales.”

If you saw someone sitting in a home that was on fire, you would likely do everything you could to extricate them from that burning building. It would certainly not be good enough to say a prayer that you “hope” they make it out of there alive. In some cases, if you did not actively do something that helped take that person from the position of danger to a position of safety, you might  be held accountable for that lack of action, depending on laws.

On the other hand, if you tried everything possible including physically trying to drag the person out of that building, yet they resisted so that your own life was put in danger, there is nothing that you could be held accountable for if they die. Even if you were to go up to the window and yell that they needed to get out immediately would be a help. Doing nothing invites God’s disfavor and punishment, as far as God is concerned.

What we are seeing in the world right now is the fulfillment of Jesus’ warnings to us about the birth pangs (Matthew 24), that this world would experience toward the end of this age, leading to the judgment of the Tribulation and then His glorious, victorious return!

It is because of these events that have taken over the entire world that we Christians should have a greater desire and boldness to tell people what is going on and what they should do. This should actually be easier because of what is happening in the world now.

There are people who believe masks “help.” They believe social distancing is a good idea. They believe doing everything possible to avoid catching this virus is what needs to be the focus throughout society. I have never stated that the virus is fake. I have always stated that though it is real, I believe it is being used to usher in the next and final one-world government. I believe this more than ever for numerous reasons.

The CDC recently and quietly adjusted its CV death toll numbers to reflect that only 9,210 people actually died in the USA directly and only from CV-19. The rest all had serious underlying health conditions and most of those were the elderly. Now, “fact-checkers” are trying to get out in front of that by denying that CDC really changed anything. Of course they did and they were probably hoping no one would notice. But all of that misses the big picture, which is that this virus is being used to corral people and to usher in the final global empire to be headed by Antichrist. That’s the long-range reality and even globalists pushing for this will be surprised when the reins are taken by Antichrist, who is not one of them, but an outsider.

Christian, if this pandemic has not created within you the tremendous desire to tell people the truth from God’s perspective and their need for Jesus, then I doubt that anything will do that. We need to get right with God. We need to read His Word daily. We need to pray (and look) for opportunities to share the Gospel and what God is allowing to happen.

Time is past for being embarrassed to talk truth. Time is gone to wonder what’s happening and what God is trying to do. The time is growing exceedingly short and soon, the Church could be raptured out of here, allowing God to pour our His wrath. Think of those left on this earth! They need Jesus. They certainly need to hear about that need.

Let’s pray for one another daily – all Christians everywhere – that God will give us the fortitude, discernment, and boldness to preach the truth of the Gospel.
