Technocracy: Controlling the God Gene?

Our last installment in “Technocracy” had us looking a bit at China. We have more to say about China, but there is another aspect of technocracy that might possibly tie in with the coming “Mark of the Beast” in Revelation that we’ll discuss in this article.

Has science mapped the human genome so well that we are merely a few small steps away from scientists being able to turn off what is called the “God gene” (if it actually exists), that would keep people from even seeking God?

A video that has been around for a number of years alleges that the speaker is Bill Gates and he is speaking to a group from the Pentagon about what science was attempting to create that could be used by the Pentagon. The video with accompanying article can be seen at this link here: Can a Vaccine Alter People’s Beliefs? I have no idea if the video is legit, if it was simply staged or even if it was part of an independent movie attempt.

But let’s set that aside for a moment, shall we? The level of genetic testing that is available and being done today is enormous. Several years ago, I had some genetic testing done for health reasons. As I’ve shared here on this blog, I learned that I have the MTHFR deficiency. I learned among other things that my body cannot process Folic Acid, so I must avoid foods that contain it and since I still need Folic Acid, I must take a “methylated” form of it, like Folate or methyfolate.

Science has come a very long way in being able to map aspects of the human genome over the decades. Consider that one of the first brain surgeries was done in 1888 by William Williams Keen, to remove a brain tumor from a patient. The surgery was a success. Segue to today and the idea of brain surgery is very normal. Why? Because scientists and medical professionals have been able to map major areas of the brain and understand how portions of the brain work. These massive jumps in knowledge have allowed surgeons to save people like never before going well beyond what they did 100 years ago.

But my question is related to how far science will one day go in their search for an alleged “God gene” that they think allows people to exercise faith in the supernatural or God?

The knowledge provided by mapping and sequencing the human genome may make it possible to achieve one of the most provocative of the new biotechnologies: human gene therapy. [1]

In 2004, Time magazine highlighted the God Gene. As noted in the article above, there is currently no scientific proof so far that a so-called God gene actually exists. In other words, science does not yet know how it is or from where in our brains or human genome we conclude that God exists and we desire to worship Him. The interesting thing of course is that for devout atheists, they have no desire to know a God that they flatly state does not exist. Do they not have this alleged God gene?

Is the God gene (if it exists), “turned on” when a person receives salvation after their eyes are open to the truth and reality of who God is and what He has accomplished for us on the cross, through Jesus? We do not know how that works.

What if, at some point in the future, scientists are able to unlock and understand scientifically our ability to to yearn for and seek our Creator? What might open up to science at that point and become possible?

We know that Satan, while nowhere even close to being God, has tremendous power, correct? We also know that he is likely the most powerful of all angels who fell. All other angels who fell because of Satan’s deception over them, have less intelligence and power than he does. Would you agree with that?

I would also suggest that Satan, because he is so powerful, intelligent and extremely capable of putting forth an agenda and bringing it to fruition (as long as God allows it), then why would Satan not have been studying humanity ever since we were created? Obviously, Satan is keenly interested in human beings, if for no other reasons than the fact that we were made in God’s image, that God loves us keenly and He proved it by dying for us so that we might have salvation.

Neither Satan nor his fallen angels have the chance of receiving salvation. They were not made in God’s image and Jesus did not die for them. He died for humanity; we who were made in God’s image. Angels who did not follow Satan are referred to as “the elect angels,” (1 Timothy 5:21).

Satan’s hatred of the human race began after his fall and, which occurred at some point prior to God’s Creation of Adam. Imagine seeing God personally create another being imbuing it with the very image of God. This does not mean that we are at all “divine.” It refers to our heart, mind and will, what is now corrupted by our flesh or fallen nature, but will be completely restored to God’s intended creative efforts once we pass from this life to the next. Do you think that caused a jealousy in Satan?

But the other reality aside from how much Satan hates humanity is that Satan has been able to watch us since the Garden of Eden. He learned quickly Eve’s weakness and used it against her. Eve knew Adam’s weakness.

Satan likely also saw in the spiritual realm what actually happened to human beings after sinning and because of the fall. We don’t know how this was seen or viewed in the spiritual realm. Remember that Satan and his angels exist in the spiritual realm but can certainly affect people and things in our physical realm. Satan saw Adam’s fall in real time in our physical realm, and would’ve noticed what effect it had on his spirit as well, in the spiritual realm.

Would it be possible for Satan to be able to figure out how our bodies, our brains and our thought patterns work over generations? Consider Transcendental Meditation. We know that there are things called “chakras:” energy points on the spine that, through meditation, provide “release” or greater spiritual awareness to the practitioner. The goal is to go all the way up the spine to the top of the head to open the “pineal” gland or the “third eye” of the mind. This is said to release tremendous energy and provide great insight into spiritual things. How did Satan know how to do this? How did he know to lead people in this direction? What does he see in the spiritual realm that we are not privy to?

Based on Revelation 13, 14, 16 and 19, where the Mark of the Beast of the coming Tribulation is highlighted – when everyone is forced to take the mark and will not be able to buy or sell without it – I can only wonder what technology and scientific knowledge will exist by that point? How much of the brain and human genome will be mapped by then?

And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (Rev 13:14-17)

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image. (Rev 16:2)

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Rev 19:20)

Notice in the section of Revelation 13 above, the second paragraph tells us that the coming second beast or false prophet will have the power to “give life” to the image of the beast to the point that the image of the beast will actually speak. That’s not too difficult for us to believe today is it? A few thousand years ago or even at the turn of the 1900s, it would’ve seemed preposterous; like science fiction.

But somehow, the second beast is able to instill some form of life into an inanimate object that represents the first beast, or Antichrist. What kind of scientific knowledge or technology would this require? I have no idea but it may not be here yet, though it’s probably in development (OR it will simply be raw demonic power).

But for those who take the Mark of the Beast (and some won’t and will be put to death as noted above in Rev 13), they have apparently lost any chance of receiving salvation.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb… (Revelation 14:9-10)

Clearly, accepting the Mark is an eternally damnable offense to God. Is it possible that this Mark might include some type of tattoo and/or vaccination that could alter that person’s human DNA into something else entirely? Could it possibly shut off what eventually might be discovered as the “God gene” and once turned off, there is no chance of it being turned on again? Or is it simply that receiving the Mark is the point of no return as far as God is concerned because it represents a complete break with God by worshipping Satan? It may not have anymore meaning than that, but it could have more.

Growing up and reading these passages always confused me. I wasn’t sure what the full ramifications were concerning the Mark of the Beast. I still don’t think I fully understand the ramifications either, but I think we’ve certainly gotten closer to the reality with the numerous possibilities that are being discussed today.

Whatever the Mark of the Beast is and how it might change human DNA remains to be seen and frankly, I don’t think we’ll know until humanity gets to that point. I’m glad the Church will be gone by then.
