Satan’s Cloaked Kingdom

I wonder how much more we Christians would actively and deliberately choose to live for God daily if we understood the immensity and power of Satan’s multi-faceted, cloaked kingdom? Surely, his is a highly structured, militarily-organized kingdom that engages with and impacts the way the world moves?

What this means is a simple truth has been consistently hidden in a mass of glamour or Glossa, to confound the minds and thus the hearts of man, while keeping them entrenched in a limited grasp on world events, historical and current, which is handed on a plate through TV and the media in all nations without the public having to go and do anything. [1]

While Satan’s kingdom is, to be sure, fully under God’s scrutiny and ultimate control, it seems clear from various portions of Scripture that Satan, though limited, still has a good amount of freedom to do as he will throughout the world. The first chapter of Job bears this out when Satan responds to God’s question as to where he (Satan) has been with, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it” (NKJV). It is likely where Peter got the same idea about Satan’s movements (1 Peter 5:8).

In reality, Satan does not merely walk around, observing. On the contrary, it seems very clear from Scripture that Satan is intimately involved in the goings on with earth’s global society. We see the effects of his actions and deceptions throughout society and world history.

If we could actually see just how intricate Satan’s kingdom is and how much he has successfully infiltrated human society through his agents (people), apparently working for him at every level, we would not soon likely believe that it is the Christian’s job to help overcome that kingdom on behalf of God (as in Dominionism). Our job is to stand against it, yes (Eph 6:13), but we do so by fulfilling the Great Commission of Matthew 28 and by allowing God’s Word to penetrate the depths of our souls in order to bring our lives into conformity to His will, thereby bringing Him glory day in and day out.

I believe God has allowed Satan to create a highly militarized, powerful and efficient kingdom so that he might actually at some future point fulfill his foretold attempt to oust God from His eternal position as Creator of all things. Of course, the more people who will join Satan in attempting to unseat God, the greater Satan thinks his chances of victory.

What I’m saying is that on one hand, Satan has been building his massive and intricate kingdom since his own personal fall. Because of the later fall of our first parents, Satan became intertwined with this world’s ultimate judgment and will include Satan’s own demise. He cannot escape. His judgment is sure and coming. This is a done deal, yet remains future tense as far as Satan and humanity are concerned.

Yet, in spite of this surety, Satan continues to work to unseat God as though he is not under judgment or can change the outcome. That has always been his goal as found in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28. These are the original musings that direct his steps to this very moment we call today. Satan, the created, has absolutely no chance of dethroning God, the uncreated.

However, I wonder if we Christians tend to minimize not only Satan’s power, but his tactics? Shouldn’t we instead assume that in spite of this eternal sentence yet to be officially fulfilled, Satan would do everything he could to prove God a liar? In fact, hasn’t this always been his goal? Of course and Satan will stop at nothing in his attempts to unseat God until God Himself with finality, stops him.

In the meantime while we wait (and work), we know there is a very highly detailed, intricately woven, massive militarized invisible underworld with Satan at the very head of the entire organization, which spills over into our physical realm at nearly every level. Is this why Peter tells his readers to “…not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you” (1 Peter 4:12)? The works of Satan are all around us.

It’s almost as though we should expect these things to happen to us (if not for God), because of Satan and his kingdom that is growing exponentially these days in preparation for his final battle against God Himself at the end of the Tribulation (Armageddon). We Christians are in his way simply because we are Christians, but we cannot stop his progress because it is God who allows it.

I was reading a very long and thorough article “The Aldobrandini, Lucifer And Its Servants,” that a reader sent me, about the various yet interlinked “globalist” families which have existed since the 3rd or 4th centuries. If only half of what the author states is true (and much is documented), then it is truly eye-opening just how vast and multi-layered it all is for us to consider.

For instance, we need look no further than the political landscape as well as the media in general to see how these areas along with the field of entertainment have affected change within society. From supporting the family decades ago to completely trashing and redefining it today, this is not the work of just one or two billionaires here or there. No, it is the work of tremendously large factions (often distinct though united), all dedicated to the power of Lucifer and exist to elevate him and him alone.

We’re all familiar with the name “Rothschild” or “Rockefeller” but how many names are we not at all familiar with who likely wield more power than these two, yet remain in the shadows? These are likely the real purveyors of power that mold and shape society.

I am suggesting that if we are unaware of the degree to which Satan has gained control over society, we will fail to comprehend just exactly how much Satan works through many powerful people in society to accomplish his will. In doing so, we will be tempted to focus on people rather than on the enemy behind them who also works through them. This does not mean those people are guiltless. It means that they are fully deceived and owned by Satan himself. It also means we need to pray for these people though they may never realize their egregious error until they stand before God.

Again, this also does not mean that we study Satanism or seek to see beneath the veil that separates us from that dark world. I’m simply saying that as Paul categorically stated (because he understood), that he was not unaware of Satan’s schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), we too, should be aware of the areas in society that Satan has a death grip and how those areas are used to gain even more control.

We should also come to understand that God is not going to “save” society, whether it’s the USA or some other nation. Ultimately, all will be judged and this is where we are heading. However, God will continue to save individuals out of the darkness of current society into His wonderful Light and it remains our job to tell them.

If we understand exactly how Satan gained control of many things, we will at the same time become more able to appreciate just how much more God controls. While it is completely true that Satan is a fully defeated foe, in the present, he is given freedom as though he is not at all defeated. This is a crucial difference to understand because it alerts us to the real issue: our need to constantly rely on God, His strength, grace and discernment to do proper battle with our biggest enemy, the battle for people’s souls. We are in the thick of that.

The real problem is not society and the people in it. Both are victims. The real problem is Satan and what he accomplishes through people of this world (because of our fallen nature and propensity to sin), that allow Satan’s final global kingdom to take its place in future world history.

I just wonder if we are too comfortable, too dismissive, and too careless as we walk through this world? Is it possible?

My wife and I live in a very rural area of our state. The less populated the area, the greater the chance of seeing poisonous snakes because they don’t like people and do their best to stay away. As we walk through fields for exercise and enjoyment, it would be stupid to not consider the fact that under each nearby rock there could be a copperhead or rattler. During winter, this is much less likely to be the case because of hibernation. However, when the weather warms up, even those fields most familiar to us can hold surprises if we are not careful. It means we need to be on our guard all the time because if we are not, disaster could strike. I constantly look for dangers as I walk. Instead of scaring me, I am simply more aware.

By way of another illustration, our area also has fire ants. They’re dangerous if a person has allergies to them. They are just under the surface of the ground and are seen by the piles of dirt they create as they tunnel. Eliminating one ant hill does not mean eliminating the entire network of fire ant colonies. There are likely billions of them under the ground. It would be stupid to think that by eradicating one ant hill, I’ve eliminated all the ants living under ground. Because of this, I never walk in my yard barefoot. Fire ants are notorious for stinging bites and they will keep biting. They’ve been known to swarm over chickens and sting them until they die. I always have to be on guard when I’m in the yard.

Christians need to understand that Satan’s kingdom is organized like a military hierarchy with great power. Paul tells us that Satan is the prince of the power of the air and under him are powers, principalities and rulers of the air that do his bidding.

For by (God) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. (Col 1:16)

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12)

The above verses provide a glimpse into the unseen world of Satan’s multi-leveled kingdom. We also see glimpses of this unseen world in passages from the Old Testament like the book of Daniel as one example.

What should this information do for us? What should the reality of Satan’s actual kingdom help us understand?

  • We are under attack whether we think so or not by simply being alive on the earth
  • We will be in danger of falling if we are not aware of that possibility
  • Satan’s kingdom is set against God and therefore against us
  • We will likely never understand (in this life), the full portent of Satan’s power and how he works through so many humans who have given themselves to him
  • While understanding Satan is ultimately a defeated foe, we must still walk through life with the understanding that while God upholds us, Satan seeks our destruction
  • We are in the battle whether we think or feel we are

Ask yourself the following two questions:

  1. What is God’s purpose for your life?
  2. What is Satan’s purpose for your life?

If we are not actively living the first option, by default we are living the second.

Make no mistake. Satan works very hard to bring about his own will throughout the earth and untold many are completely even if unknowingly sold out to him. Others are his willing puppets.

Churches don’t talk about the basics of salvation anymore. Like we need the Rightousness of Jesus Christ to be saved, our Rightousness is counted as nothing, we’re saved by the Life of Jesus Christ, our salvation is based on the finished work of Jesus Christ, when you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross , was buried, and risen from the Dead on the third day your saved and now the Rightousness of Jesus Christ will take you to heaven,
