Upendra, Priyanka win awards for best actor at National Film Awards
Bengali movie Antaheen on Saturday bagged the 56th National Film Awards 2008 for the Best Feature Film, Best Cinematography, Best Lyrics and Best Female Playback Singer category.

The best actor award has been bagged by Upendra Limaye for his performance in Marathi feature film 'Jogva'. The film has also been chosen in the Best Film on Social Issues category and the award for music has also been bagged by the film.
Hariharan has been selected as the best male playback singer while Shreya Ghoshal has been given the award for female playback singing.
Priyanka Chopra has been adjudged the Best Actress for 'Fashion' while Kangna Ranaut is the Best Supporting actress for the same film.
Arjun Rampal is the Best Supporting actor for 'Rock On'. The Best Hindi film award went to ‘Rock On’.
The Best popular film award went to ‘Oye Lucky Oye’.
8 films have been selected in regional language category. Best Non-feature film award has gone to 'AFSPA 1958'.
'The assassination of Rajiv Gandhi' has been adjudged the best film in the category of Reconstruction and Compilation.
Nargis Dutt award for best feature film on National Integration went to Assamese film 'Aaikotnai'.
Kannada film 'Gubbachiganlu' was judged the best children film.
'Bollywood Melodies' by Ganesh Anantharaman is the best book on films and best critic award went to Altaf Mazid for focus on Assamese film industry.
Earlier the heads of the three juries submitted their report on the film awards to the Information and Broadcast Minister Ambika Soni who was present at the award announcement ceremony.
Replying questions, she said that the suggestions made by the jury committees will be implemented to the maximum.
She also said Shaji Karun, who headed the feature film awards jury will be part of the process to reinvent the National Film Awards announced by her earlier.
The awards will be presented by the President Pratibha Devisingh Patil in March this year.
