Paramount’s international copyright officials are crying “Foul!” against the Bollywood release of the latest in The Godfather Saga, “G4: Family Business”
“We have absolutely no idea how these (un-named) Mumbai producers obtained more than 20 minutes of Marlon Brando scenes from original (Godfather 1972) footage! …. these scenes were never edited or released, someone must have stolen them from our California studios decades ago.” cried Murray Goldstein of the company’s Copyright & Content Business Unit.
Now the Trailer is on ‘YouTube of India’ but is not being allowed in The U.S. Google officials declined to make any formal statement regarding the movie or any derivatives that may exist on YouTube. Insiders believe that somehow, the group known as “Anonymous” hacked into Paramount and then worked a deal with The Indian Triad (AKA Mollywood Mafia).
