You’re right. Games have many advantages. But you can’t just limit yourself to video games. There are games that are as close to reality as possible and where the players are real people, and not heroes on the monitor screen.
Let your teens play Laser Tag.
This is a team game that both teenagers and their parents can play. it will teach you to communicate more. Exciting competitions will help you feel the team spirit, relieve boredom, and also benefit your health. Success in the game depends on teamwork. The game is safe for players. Equipment (rifles, grenades, etc.) that you need to have here https://lasertaglsd.com/shop/
You also need headbands, vests or capes equipped with special sensors. The sensors serve as targets for shots and record hits.

The games that teenagers 16 choose for themselves are usually not liked by their parents, and adults are not happy with the options of children. Some, of course, also like to shoot a couple of bots, but such a minority. Board games help to find a compromise between fictitious worlds and serious pursuits: among them there are mobile options, and developmental ones, interesting even at the age of 16.
An interesting game of Equivoki. This requires artistry and quick thinking. It depends on the roll of the dice how one of the company will explain the hidden word: draw it, sing it, show it with gestures or sculpt it out of plasticine. There are enough versions of the game.

I think the best games for teenagers are those that can develop logic.
It could be a chess game. Chess teaches you how to win and lose. Everyone loves winning, of course, but it’s equally important to learn to accept failure. As they say, sometimes you give a lesson and sometimes you are given a lesson! The most important thing is to learn from these lessons and become a stronger player. As in life, we need support as we face setbacks and grow stronger and wiser. Winning is an important character trait that can be acquired through chess.
You can find about how to play chess here https://gogetgame.com/article/how-to-play-chess/
Chess is available on GoGetGame on your phone, tablet, or PC, games for Chrome, Android, or iPhone, for Mac.

My younger brother spends more than 50% of his free time playing video games. He tried different shooters and horror games but at the moment its in the past for him (so happy about it!). His new faves are different Fifa games from Gamerdam which is not too bad, right? He enjoys having some friends cause they can play it together at the same time. I honestly don’t understand the point playing soccer online if you have the opportunity to play a real one, but yep… we are different, he doesn’t understand how I can dry my hair for one hour or so))).
