Jonas Brother Gets Married
Kevin Jonas, one of the member’s of the Jonas Brothers singing group, got married, says MTV.com:
As had been speculated earlier this week, Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothersmarried his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, on Saturday (December 19) at the luxurious Oheka Castle on New York’s Long Island. Kevin’s brothers Joe and Nick both served as his best man. Despite a blizzard the blanketed most of the Northeast, the ceremony went on as planned.
“We’re so happy that we’re finally married and we were able to share the special moment with family, friends and loved ones,” the couple, who held the wedding at the French chateu style estate, told People. 400 guests were in attendance, including Demi Lovato. Deleasa’s dad, Thomas, walked the bride, who wore a strapless tulle and chantilly lace Vera Wang gown, down the aisle. She also wore a silk-and-crystal flower in her hair — an homage to the flower she wore in her hair the day the pair met in 2007.
Though a blizzard threatened the festivities, the wedding attended by 400 family members and friends, including , went forward as scheduled.
“The snow only made it look more like a winter wonderland,” said Michael Russo, a celebrity event planner of Roses-n-Lollipops, who for Saturday’s event created a fairytale forest under heated white tents, complete with 14-foot trees draped in hydrangeas and crystals made to look like icicles.
“Danielle looked like a princess,” he said. When she walked down the aisle in her strapless tulle and Chantilly lace Vera Wang gown, “Kevin couldn’t stop smiling,” said Russo.
Access Hollywood says the two met in the Bahamas:
“Kevin has said many times he feels like he met his princess,” Michael said of Danielle, who met the Disney rocker in the Bahamas in 2007. “To see them together you can feel the warmth and the love all around them. They are just perfect for each other.”
