Legislation to Ban Chemtrails Over Long Island New York is Considered by Suffolk County Commission

More than 100 wonderful people showed up to support the proposed legislation to ban geoengineering over Suffolk County, Long Island. The legislation was brought by Cindy and Jim Pikoulas, Siobhan Ciresi with LongIslandSkywatch.com and with help from Rosalind Peterson of AgricultureDefenseCoalition.org. Big thanks to the everyone who attended the public hearing, County Legislator Ed Romaine and everyone at the Suffolk County Legislative office who patiently listened to the impassioned pleading to stop the damaging aerosol operations. This public hearing is a critical first step and may be the role model for other regions in this country and around the planet.

There is always that fear of being linked with the “fringe” elements of study–ghosts, The Illuminati, aliens, chemtrails. It takes a lot of courage to allow one’s self to be allied with positively incredible bodies of thought, especially if they are not commonplace or even visible to most. Ghosts and Aliens are friendlier than chemtrails, if you are to believe Cindy Pikoulas of Long Island SkyWatch.
 
I had the great pleasure the evening of December 6, 2011, to watch the Suffolk County Legislature at work. In an effort to stop the aerial spraying of heavy metals like aluminum oxide, barium, sulfur, strontium and more into the atmosphere, visible as what we now know as “Chemtrails”–this was a hearing on a proposal to ban aerial spraying over the county without first filing an Environmental Impact Statement with the county’s Department of Health Services.

I had never heard of “Chemtrails” before last Wednesday when one of my friends told me about the meeting and offered to drive me there. My friend loves “Conspiracy Theories” though, so I rolled my eyes and indulgently went to the websites he suggested.
