I’ll let you in on a secret you won’t hear on Faux News. That guy is a darling of right wing “say anything” evangelicals who don’t even understand he’s Catholic. You’ve got maybe 40% of Republicans in that camp which gives him a popular core of 25%. Pray all you want, but he would get crushed by any moderate and never had a chance to access the moderate majority like Reagan did.
GOP is a circus act this cycle. Gone. Disappeared to the “right” in a cloud of dust.
Santorum has a unique ability to self-destruct, to shoot himself in the foot. He is an angry White man. He cannot control his anger against the press–just like Gingrich–another angry White man. These men are unfit for command. We already have an angry Black man as POTUS. We don’t need anymore angry men as the next POTUS. They all are not presidential. They need anger management.
