TRUNEWS 10/28/14: Mideast Beast - Joel Richardson

Good topic and commentator. I have read two of Richardson’s books, the Mideast Beast and The Islamic Antichrist. At first I thought that his concepts were not jiving with my interpretation of Bible scripture, but recently and with the rise of ISIL, aka IS and ISIS, I have changed my tune. In fact, if one reads Daniel Ch. 11 and Revelation Chs. 9 and 13, the prophesies could certainly be applied to the rapid growth of radical Islam, the demonic activities of ISIL, and the restoration of the Islamic Caliphate disbanded only in 1918-19. I then studied the story of Gideon and the Brave 300 from Judges Chs. 7 and 8 and realized that God’s people, the Israelites, defeated the descendents of Ishmael in the form of the Midianites. The Midianites, the Bible tells us, wore crescent moon jewelry, as did their camels, which represented the moon god Sinh. The same reference to the crescent moon symbols can be found with Esau’s followers in Genesis Ch. 35, who gave up their ‘false god’ worshiping jewelry when Esau and Jacob made up and reformed a relationship. Esau had taken an Ishmaelite woman as one of his wives as explained in Genesis 36:3. In fact, the daughter of Ishmael. Isaiah refers to the crescent moon symbol in Isaiah 3:18. The Babylonians worshiped a moon god going back to the days of Nimrod. Then throw in that eschatology in the religion of Islam contains the same basic characters as Christianity, but serving out reversed roles. For example, they believe that their prophet Issa (Jesus) will return to cleanse the world of Jews and non-converting Christians for the 12th Imam to come and rule the earth. I am afraid that Mr. Richardson is right and that we are living in the last days before the return of Christ.
