Anti-Semitism at the gates: Fighting the “Deal.”

The Obama Administration has turned against Israel as it worked to foist its bizarre deal with Iran on the world. In a recent series of statements the President began to use terms that resemble all too closely the pejorative terms used by fascist propaganda agencies in the 1930’s to mobilize the German and Italian citizens for support for the confiscation and eventual extermination acts of the regimes. The mainstream media here is too focused on transgender politics, Donald Trump and the usual celebrity antics and selfies to place any time in their broadcasts on the echoes now being heard.

Millennials are the focus groups the politicians aim at with snarky interviews on popular channels, avoiding such dull matter as historic events, and pandering to the current trends in music and language. This generation has grown up comfortable, entitled and poorly educated in the real world. Obama Care allows them to extend their adolescence and avoid discomfort while they indulge themselves in recreation, leisure and avoiding responsibility for as long as they can. Other nations in Europe practice a form of socialism and citizens feel entitled to many benefits. The ongoing financial crisis in Greece has been fueled by an economic system that provided financial entitlements and a bloated civil service culture that has plunged that nation into bankruptcy and spurred civil unrest. In all these situations that Biblical foundation of trust in The Almighty’s prominence has been ignored. As the relationship with God was severed and a secular one replaced it, the secular government took on more power and authority.

America’s crisis of faith, the outright attacks on Christian beliefs and society and the media support for these efforts are very obvious. Now that the Obama Administration is forcing the catastrophic “deal” with Iran on the world, a very disturbing theme of anti-Semitism is rising. “My people perish for want of knowledge”. Even the efforts to further divide the Nation by racial conflict and the moves to eradicate the historic memory of the War Between the States 1861-1865 are going unnoticed. When a nation’s history is rewritten by one vocal group, that group opens up the door to writing a new one. My BA is in history. A citizen must know the basics of how their country was founded and established to understand and appreciate their fundamental rights and freedoms or they will be taken away. Today’s students are taught “Social Studies”. This is a “relevant”, rootless and inconsistent curriculum based on popularity of current themes in the nation. A worse and worldwide campaign of re-educating the next generation in “social studies” is under way. The brutal lessons of the Holocaust are being buried by mythical stories about Palestine, Islam as a religion of peace (unless you live in Syria, Iraq or many other nations being attacked by Caliphate or Shia supported Iran proxies).

Growing up in the late 1940’s and ‘50’s I watched in horror as films and black & white television programs about the Holocaust were shown. It was seared in my heart and soul. Today’s Millennials have not known anyone who bears the tattoos on their arms and pain in their souls. They are prey for the anti-Semites, the neo-Fascists and Jihadists. They must be awakened and shaken.

Internet and social media are being well used by the enemy. Their lies and brutal propaganda must be countered and overwhelmed by truth and truth-tellers. Christians who totally believe in God’s Word and Commands, Messianics who obey Torah and Messiah and Jews who know what the erosion of truth and anti-Semitic activity at every level can do must work together. Confronting lies with facts is an absolute necessity. Forcefully engaging the anti-Semitic campaign for the “deal” is critical. Constantly engaging government representatives with facts to support Israel, all these are active and effective ways to say “No More”. Masada must not fall again and we are responsible for seeing that it stands.
