According to Jesse Duplantis and Kenneth Copeland God graciously gave them a million dollar Jets for Prayer time. The Believers Voice of Victory, hosted by Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis, the two start out the show by defending their use and ownership of private jets by saying that it gives them time to pray privately with God. “…that’s why we’re on that airplane,” says Copeland, “we can talk to God.”
Jesse Duplantis shared his story on how God told him on a flight home that his faith was “stagnating.” “As I was going home, the Lord–real quickly–He said, ‘Jesse, do you like your plane?’” Duplantis explained. “I thought, ‘That’s an odd statement.’ I said, ‘Well, certainly, Lord. He said, ‘Do you really like it?’ And I thought, ‘Well, yes, Lord.’ And He said, ‘So that’s it? … You gonna let your faith stagnate?’”
Duplantis said that he then unbuckled his seatbelt, stood up and said, “Lord, I don’t think I’m letting my faith stagnate,” but God responded, “So, this is all I could ever do?”
Copeland then chimed in and explained that it would be difficult to talk to God on a commercial airplane, as other passengers would say, “What the [expletive] is he doing?” “When I was flying for Oral Roberts, … my boss on the airplane, he said, ‘Now Kenneth, this is a sanctuary. It protects the anointing on brother Roberts. And he said, ‘You keep your mouth shut. You don’t talk to him unless he talks.’”
While he said that he didn’t want to fly with a “bunch of demons,” moments later, Copeland contended that he needed a private jet to help reach the lost.“We’re in soul business here. We’ve got a dying world around us. We’ve got a dying nation around us,” Copeland proclaimed. “We can’t even get there on the airlines.”
Duplantis then explained that he had recently traveled to a number of cities for events across the nation, and that in showing his schedule to a Delta pilot, he was told that the pilot couldn’t fly his route commercial. “When God tells you your faith’s stagnating, you better start listening,” he said. “[God] said this: ‘You’re in cruise control. You’re moving, but no longer by your power.’

I am a devout Christian and fly on the airlines all the time. Would that I could have the luxury as you do, on your very many private jets from your own private airport, of avoiding “this dope filled world” and simply avoid getting on that “loooooong tube with a bunch of demons.” “Its deadly”, you warn us. How can Christians avoid that? Can I ride on one of your private jets when I travel? I’ll pay you, but I’m not filthy rich, but maybe you’d accept a nominal fee? How about it? Would you want other Christians subjected to such dangers? After all, the airplane is full of demons. So, what I do as a Christian, is protect myself from evil demons with prayer.
And thanks for the warning about the devil maybe lying to us when we “see there them preachers spending all that money, them fat cats riding around, no we’re not we’re in business.” You’re right on that one! Its a business! And yours is a lucrative one at that.
You claim, snarling and clawing the air in front of you, “We’re in soul business here. We got a dying world around us.” Then this must mean that when you are on the ground, you go out on the street to save souls by foot. After all, you’re not on a plane full of demons, so you’re safe.
And Jesse, you. are. priceless: When describing modern day airline travel horrors you say, “..it works your heart, it really does.” Gracious! You can’t be having all that stress, now. Saving souls should be without sweat or horrors. You’d think Jesus was unreachable to you; that the only thing that could save you was a private jet! Jesus did not have a private jet, he was on foot.
And by the way, all that jetting around on your own private jet because you are so in demand, may mean you need to slow down a bit and let God take the reins. It could be hard on your cardiovascular system. And since allegedly God asked you, “You’re going to let your faith stagnate?” after asking you if you “liked your plane”…maybe God’s trying to tell you something?

When one sees so little spiritual revival anywhere in the World accept on a private million dollar airplane by a televangelist that receives hundreds of thousands of dollars by mail and the Internet, it’s hard to explain such extravagance. Why didn’t Jesus give Paul or any of the other apostles that were directly involved in His life a yacht or a fine horse to ride? Why did He not give them a mansion with a pool to live in – they were instructed not to take anything with them – not even a coat?
It’s totally ridiculous.
Every last one of the televangelists are very wealthy due to the sheer stupidity of the masses.
Combined with charitable status and easy credit Banks are also foreclosing on Americas churches in record numbers as rotten stewardship sets in.
What you mean you believed that the money people donate to charities actually gets used for charity?
All the large charities are organisations headed by people on half a million a year salaries, plus their expenses, eg. fancy private jets so they can promote their cause and thus keep their nice little earner. Most of the charities only dish out c10% of the money collected to the charity they are campaigning for.
