The term WATCHMAN is gender-neutral and biblical. A WATCHMAN (see Ezekiel 33) is one who knows what God has done, sees what God is doing, and shares with others what prophecy reveals what God will do. Noted below as a teaching video on what it means to be a WATCHMAN. ABOUT THE I AM A WATCHMAN MINISTRY:

The I Am A Watchman ministry is a new online-based resource designed to help individuals be aware of who God is, what God has done, what God is doing, and that the Lord plans to return.   The I Am A Watchman ministry has created a digital library of original content and is making available FREE outreach, discipleship, and teaching support resources for the body of Christ. These include informative BLOG pieces, encouraging and inspirational articles, research documents, e-books, Bible studies, pastoral teaching kits, a devotional journal, teaching videos, and more.

The I Am A Watchman ministry is rather unique in four ways:     1) All resources (including 8 books, 30 teaching videos, and 36 sermon kits) are FREE      2) we are providing quality resources to prompt and equip church leaders to teach on the important but often under-addressed topics of prophecy and eschatology           3) we are creating a platform whereby  individuals who identify as watchmen can be encouraged, equipped, and connected with other watchmen    and    4) we are making resources available in six languages (which will allow the ministry to impact China, India, Africa, Mexico—South America, and the Arab world).

The vision is to do FOUR things well:

1. We want to reach the lost for Christ: We believe that evil is growing, and the Lord is coming! We have a burden to see individuals be spiritually prepared for the return of the King.         
2. We want to provide resources to help individuals grow in their spiritual walk:  We believe there are too many babes in Christ in the Church today—we’re providing discipleship resources to address that issue.
3. We want to support church leaders (particularly pastors and teachers):  We have noticed that though are many good teachers, there is a notable absence of good teaching on the topics of prophecy and eschatology.   Our sermon and teaching kits, e-books, research documents, and coaching support are designed to prompt and resource church leaders to teach on these important subjects.
4. We want to support and network watchmen:  We have found that many who feel called to be a watchman, also feel, alone.  Therefore, we are not only providing quality resources to equip watchman, we are creating a network for watchmen.  Through the I Am A Watchman website, watchmen from around the world can share their testimonies and prayer requests, ask questions, learn, and connect with other watchmen.
