A college in Michigan canceled its production of a controversial radical feminist play because it discriminates against transgender women. From the Faith Wire:

Response: I love it when liberal/progressive activist causes clash and have to change and adapt to new PC cultural sensibilities. So now radical feminism has to recognize and give ground to the transgender movement. ‘Women’ who were physically born male must be included somehow in a new ‘feminist’ agenda?

The adjustment and meshing of these two progressive causes in reality is not all that seamless. A generation ago women activists fought for Title IX which forced schools to equally fund women’s athletic programs. Now there is considerable controversy over transgender women winning awards, setting records, and taking spots on teams that would have gone to ‘real’ physical women. Also, when it comes to ‘glass ceilings’ do transgenders really count, do they skew the stats, or should they be considered as a separate category?

Add to that the new idea that babies should not be identified as a specific gender on their birth certificates. This goes along with the belief that children should be allowed to choose what gender they want to be regardless of the physical organs they were born with. Not only that but in California schools students are now allowed to choose what they want to be daily without parental notification.

Bottom line, these new PC ideas and policies result in gender confusion, a blurring of gender identity, and a disassociation from physical reality. Radical Feminism created some of this confusion, but if it continues, in the end specific gender rights will become meaningless. After all, if a woman wants the same rights as a man all she has to do now is change her gender? Transgenderism taken to its final conclusion replaces and eliminates the need for radical feminism. 

According to the Bible, God created male and female. But in the new PC playbook that doesn’t mean a thing anymore. Ironically, in a generation that supposedly acknowledges the supremacy of science, the physical evidence doesn’t count when it comes to gender identity?               *Top
