My Christmas Prayer

According to the US NORAD tracking system, in just a few moments as I write this, Santa will be delivering girts in Madagascar.  I have written a yearly prayer to God every Christmas since my experience with my Angels.  Some of those letters I have published and most I have kept solely to myself.  This year, I am thinking about what I WANT to say to God.  I won’t make this a formal letter, but that I will share with those who are interested just exactly what is on my mind this afternoon as I write this.  I was going to make this a formal prayer, but the format doesn’t really allow me to do that.  However, if I were to get on my knees and pray, I would gather my thoughts and my thoughts would go something like this:

Hello God.  It’s me again.  I have been waiting for your Son to return for quite some time now.  I really thought He would have been here about seven years after my experience with Your Angels, because at that time, they said that the Tribulation Period had begun.  Now, I don’t know if i am correct or not, but my thinking has been that the Great Tribulation Period has come to an end.  I am thinking that now, we are in what I have been saying is the Apocalyptic Age.  And really, I have been in search of some kind of sign as to exactly when I can predict when You will send Your Son back to this earth.  I know that tomorrow is Christmas according to the traditions of most of Christianity, but I know too from what my Angels told me that Jesus was really born in April.  It’s okay if I have two Christmases in a year, but I can tell you that it’s not a lot of fun to celebrate something only which I know by myself.  Your Angels gave me the date.  I just don’t know the year–not that that matters.  it doesn’t.  In fact, knowing the exact date doesn’t seem to really matter to me, except that I can claim to myself that I know something that no one else to my knowledge knows. 

I have said that because this is the Apocalyptic Age, all biblical prophecies have been fulfilled except for one event:  The coming of Your Son.  So, I shouldn’t be surprised by anything I observe in this world.  And really, I’m not.  It’s just that while I don’t need to tell You what You already know, I am getting kind of tired of waiting and that while I am waiting, I and all those around me are all getting older.  Sometimes I am not sure who will be alive in my world that would be here when You finally send Your Son.  I don’t worry about not being here, but sometimes I worry about my quality of life while I am waiting.  And further, Your Angels told me that I will help to prepare the way for Him and that I will be here when He comes.  But I get tired of waiting, really.  I watch the world go on and I am thinking that surely things can’t get much worse for the world.  At least I know the world isn’t going to blow itself up, nor will humanity destroy it, we aren’t doing a very good job of taking care of it.  And further, it seems that people get along less with each other than they ever have.  I have seen a lot in this lifetime and I just think there isn’t much patience that people have for each other any longer.  And really, if what Your Angels told me is true about how you will judge all nations, it seems to me that there is less regard that we all have for Human Life than ever before. 

You would probably tell me not to be discouraged by what I am observing because these things must be before Your Son comes back.  You would say that He said these days would be the Labor Pains.  We are there now.  And really, while I have no choice but to wait, I am sure there are a lot of people who live in fear in this world today.  Well, Your Word says that in the Last Days people will die from fear.  You said their hearts will fail them.  I see a lot of fear in what people are saying today.  You said it would happen.  Well, I just wonder how much longer You are going to let it happen.  I can only wish I had some way of knowing when Jesus will come back, but I guess you will just leave me guessing the same things over and over.  And since I am not You, I really have no other choice.  All I can do is wait with the rest of the world.  All I can do is say to whomever will listen not to fear for these things must be before the Messiah comes.  All I can say is what I have been saying about how we are living in the Last Days.  All we can do is wait.  Sometimes however, I just get tired of waiting.  Actually, Christmas gives the world a respite from all we observe.  And really, maybe it is true we can’t have too many Christmases.
