Existence. Does it have to, or could it come from, non existence?
We know God always existed and is the primary cause of all existence.
We know this intuitively through the soul because truth can neither be created or destroyed and God is truth.,
When we say God made the universe from nothing that is not true. He spoke it into existence. It comes from the spoken word. Not of creatures obviously but of Truth.
There must always be a primary cause we know from human reason. We also know intuitively from the soul that God is that primary cause.
There could never have been a time when nothing existed for if that were the case then nothing could exist.

The argument is circular because the creature, us, cannot comprehend the creator God in the same way that a pot cannot comprehend the potter. That itself is a biblical analogy and abrogates all further argument without providing a solution. Indeed the pot has no, nor ever will have a solution. Nor could we give it one. Not to say God himself cannot give it one as we are indeed the Bible claims made in his image and likeness.
Whether or not he chooses to do so is up for debate as this has been spoken of by one seer in the affirmative. Whether this is true or not is anyone’s guess. I suggest it isn’t because the Bible has already spoken on the subject in the negative.
And the Bible never gives half explanations, half answers or anything but the definitive truth.
As the creature we glory in the existence of God from all eternity, nothing more and nothing less.
We are like tadpoles, newly formed in a stream. We know not where we come from or how or why, except to give glory to God as our creator, for his incredible handiwork and his divine pleasure in doing so.
