One simple but efficient way to identify false religion is whether or not they believe in/advocate after death man either ascends to Heaven or descends to Hell. Neither meet the scriptural smell test! Lets begin with Hell, the devil’s lair, the fiery place of eternal torture that lives in the polluted minds of pagans. Truth is, God specified a penalty for all unrepented sin. The Bible tells us it isn’t endless torture. “Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Now let’s see what scripture has to say about ascending to Heaven falicy. First Christ gives the Lord’s Prayer “Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Then we learn in “John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven and in Revelation 21:2 we’re assured, “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” If you have an eye to see and an ear to listen it’s pretty obvious to anyone with a discerning thought process the heaven/hell ideology is about as fake as CNN and MSNBC news.
