Fota XIII International Liturgical Conference, July 2-4, 2012

St Colman’s Society for Catholic Liturgy is pleased to announce that the Fota XIII International Liturgy Conference, originally planned for July 4-6, 2020, will now be held in Cork, Ireland, on July 2-4, 2022, subject to the public health regulations in place at that time. The theme of the conference is “Worship in Spirit and in Truth”, to mark the twentieth anniversary of the publication of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI’s “Vom Geist der Liturgie (The Spirit of the Liturgy)”. The Conference will focus on the ecclesial importance of Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI’s liturgical vision, its underlying principles, its significance for a coherent theological understanding of the Roman liturgy and of its evolution, as well as for its wide ranging implications in ecumenical dialogue and the restoration of Christian unity.
