-Devotion and Prayer for the Day: Psalm 77

Join us in today’s prayer and devotion-

Read Psalm 77 and then join us in prayer:

Our Father,

We will remember your deeds O Lord; yes, we will remember all your wonders of old. We will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy; who is like our God? You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples in past generations. We cry out for you to do it again in this generation.

We also cry to you today for help against those who come against your church using this pandemic as an excuse; powerful politicians, judges, educators, and media folks, have united in this chaotic time to control and contain the church and the freedom of your believers. We pray that many of them will be converted like Paul was.

Bring forth and rise up strong leaders; we also pray that many of those who protested in the streets will miraculously be converted and become bold leaders in the streets for Jesus. Let your Kingdom come down in our midst, and let the Word go forth to the nations in power with signs and wonders confirming the good news of your Son in every language.

So many doubt the record of your wonders of old, let them experience miracles and healings once more; let us see miracles among your people during the war which is raging in the Ukraine. Let the evil one and his followers try to explain it all away in vain while the whole world comes to a knowledge of your Son Jesus and praises your name as never before.

Praise your name now and forevermore.
