Thanks to the QAnon cryptic, the name Antonin Scalia is trending again.

Antonin “Nino” Scalia, as you may recall, was an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1986 until his death on February 13, 2016, at age 79. His 30-year tenure made an indelible impression on American conservative legal thinking.

• Scalia’s death was completely unexpected and shocked the nation. He had been so influential and so charismatic for so long that folks just sort of assumed he would live forever.

Admired and respected by his peers and the American public, more than 6,000 mourners filed past Scalia’s coffin to pay their last respects.

President Barack Obama put forward the liberal-leaning Merrick Garland who failed to win popular support, even though he was an able candidate. Conservatives wanted to delay the decision until after the 2016 presidential election. CNN explains why:

“The prospect seemed real that Scalia would be replaced with a liberal justice giving the left wing of the bench a majority that could impact issues such as abortion, campaign finance and voting rights.”

Here’s where the QAnon coded message comes in. This self-identified high-level government source claims that after Scalia was murdered and Garland’s nomination stalled, Bill Clinton bribed Attorney General Loretta Lynch with Scalia’s Associate Supreme Court Justice seat in exchange for her recommendation to drop the Hillary Clinton email server investigation.

Yes, QAnon accused, by implication – with a reference to police scanner code 187, meaning homicide – that Justice Scalia was murdered and did not die of natural causes, the official explanation. Scalia did have well-known pre-existing medical conditions so why suspect anything else from a 79-year-old man who had lived a full and very productive life?

Scalia was found dead that mid-February day in 2016 at luxury resort Cibolo Creek Ranch, in the Big Bend region of west Texas near the Mexican border. The cause of death was not immediately released.

United States Marshals who arrived on the scene had confirmed the coroner’s findings. No marshals were present when Scalia died because he had declined a security detail while at the ranch.

Scalia was a guest of Texas millionaire John Poindexter. A private party with about 35 other guests were enjoying a weekend of hunting and sightseeing.

When Scalia failed to appear Saturday morning for an excursion, Poindexter knocked on the Justice’s room. Hearing no answer, he entered the room and found Scalia, still in his pajamas. The resorts’ host told the LA Times:

“He was in perfect repose in his bed as if he was taking a nap. His face wasn’t contorted or anything. I went over and felt his hand and it was very cold, no pulse. You could see he was not alive.”

Infowars raised the question, overlooked by mainstream media, as to why Scalia was present at the Cibolo Creek Ranch on an all-expenses-paid trip? Was this payback for Scalia’s finding in favor of Poindexter’s age discrimination case by refusing to hear it?

It turns out that none of the guests that Valentines/President’s Day weekend paid for their lodging. “Poindexter admitted the free trip was a ‘gift’ to Scalia.”

But The Washington Post revealed some other irregularities surrounding the events after Scalia’s body was discovered:

“It then took hours for authorities in remote West Texas to find a justice of the peace, officials said Sunday. When they did, Presidio County Judge Cinderela Guevara pronounced Scalia dead of natural causes without seeing the body — which is permissible under Texas law — and without ordering an autopsy.”

The same article continues:

“A manager at the El Paso funeral home where Scalia’s body was taken said that his family made it clear they did not want one. One of two other officials who were called but couldn’t get to Scalia’s body in time said that she would have made a different decision on the autopsy.”

Did you know that the word autopsy is Greek for “see for yourself?” Because We the People never got proof positive from a post-mortem medical examiner, there is doubt in some minds about how, and of what, Scalia actually died.

Conservative radio host Michael Savage was among the first believers that Scalia’s death involved foul play. He shared some conspiracy theories with The New Yorker:

“Scalia was killed by Barack Obama, or by Rod Blagojevich, or by Hillary Clinton; or, veering to the right corner, by the Bush family, or by Ted Cruz, or by Dick Cheney.”

QAnon’s message seems to confirm that, once again, the conspiracy theories are conspiracy fact. If WikiLeaks really has proof, the world may not have to wonder much longer to resolve the matter of Justice Scalia’s death.

That proof would tend to support the rest of QAnon’s coded message. The Clinton-Lynch “tarmac” conversation took place mere days before Lynch did recommend dropping the “matter” (no longer an investigation, according to the Democratic leadership). Shortly after that, the FBI dropped their investigation into the little matter of email server treason and breach of national security.

But what about Scalia’s Supreme Court seat? From Who2 Biographies:

“Judge Neil Gorsuch was nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Donald Trump on January 31, 2017. He was confirmed on April 7, 2017, taking the court seat held open by Republicans since the sudden death of Justice Antonin Scalia in February of 2016.”

Newsmax quoted President Donald Trump who explained why entrusting 49-year-old federal appeals judge Gorsuch to succeed Scalia in the lifetime job was so important:

“‘Depending on their age, a justice can be active for 50 years. And his or her decisions can last a century or more, and can often be permanent,’ Trump said, underscoring the importance of having a fair-minded and intelligent person fill the role.”

Gorsuch hit the ground running and wasted no time making his presence known on the highest bench in the land. Some of his colleagues found his zeal a tad annoying. Fortunately, as Oyez reports, Gorsuch is a Constitutional originalist – “he believes the US Constitution should be construed as it was by its original drafters.”

This is good news for US patriots. But consider for a moment: what if Hillary had been elected, gotten Lynch into Scalia’s Justice seat, and used the bribed official’s illicit influence to steer the ship of government away from the Constitution for decades to come? That’s a chilling thought for freedom-loving Americans.

Furthermore, if a Democratic stooge had been put in Scalia’s place, and accusations that Scalia was murdered were leveled – as QAnon did – you can be sure that Scalia’s  case would get no serious investigation from a Clinton administration. But that didn’t happen, did it?

If Scalia was indeed murdered, and proof arises, let justice be served.
