TNG Christians
We are Christians that believe in taking the Bible at its word, not spiritualizing it. We believe that the Bible is simple enough for a child to understand it, for even Jesus thanked God the Father for making it so simple! Luk_10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. We do not believe in icons, crosses, holy water, Mary the mother of Jesus, angels, pastors nor priests as a source for our salvation. God provided 1 source and 1 source only! Act_4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. We believe in “Power of attorney” which means we ASK God the Father for “WHATSOEVER” in Jesus’ name. Mat_21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Joh_14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Joh_15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Joh_16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 1Jn_3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn_5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
