Truck Driver Nearly Beaten To Death By Police For Not Signing Traffic Ticket (Video)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

A truck driver was beaten within an inch of his life by California Highway Patrol for not signing a traffic ticket that he could not read. The driver, who broke no laws, was beaten so badly that he woke up in a trauma hospital.

Mr. Olegs Kozacenko, a russian immigrant who could not read the ticket, refused to sign it.  Cops then dragged him out of his truck and nearly beat him to death.  He suffered a crushed left orbital eye socket, multiple facial fractures, a broken left arm, broken ribs, a concussion, loss of consciousness, and possible neurological damage.

We hear about this happening somewhere everyday.  Everyday police are using their power.  They are not abusing it, they are using it.  As I said before, power attracts bad people.  A good person does not want to control another. The 2 cops involved remain on duty a full 2 years after the incident occured.  Mr. Kozacenko suffers from long term damage.  -Mort

if anything ever happens in civil unrest, cops should be targeted 1st! thats what I’ve been hearing, not that I condone it though!

      • Anonymous

Or, are the boys & girls returning from illegal occupations, your “volunteering heroes’, many now PIGS and actively using their SPRAY & PRAY tactics ON YOU ameri-SCUM FOOLS,
          ARE YOU AFRAID OF THEM?
MAYBE YOUR MILITARIZED PIGS ARE A LITTLE TOO SCARY :?: :?: :?:

If there is some kind of unjust martial law nationwide and the police are told to do something that is a violation of the constitution and clearly illegal I think the majority of police will refuse to do it and side with the citizens. Remember I said the majority. I would hate to see what would happen to police if there was a Kent State like incident today.

i think theyd shoot you in the face as quick as look at you.. theyre doing it now… and at this stage, they are still supposed to be accountable…

Been saying cops & ALL GOVERNMENT WORKERS should be tested for drugs… cops sound like their on steroids…

Thats the typical CHP attitude…I am the law…obey or else. Nice to see Mort can report some informative facts.

This is why the 2nd amendment to the US Constitution was created…

    • donjose11

That’s typical of at least 95% of any cop. Give them a badge and they think they are God and can do no wrong. I hope he takes them to court and wins big time.

    • Modres

The police are actually ABUSING their power, not simply using it. I would disagree with the author of this short article.

This type of abuse happens way too often and proof of it is seen in the fact that anything rarely happens to the officers involved.

Too often, police beat or shoot someone FIRST. They overreact to situations making them very volatile. It’s because they do not like to be questioned. Too many cops see themselves as dictators. When they say “jump,” we’re supposed to ask “how high.” When that doesn’t happen, a beat down is the normative response.

I feel very bad for anybody who has to go though this type of abuse from the people we are supposed to trust. I personally hate police officers, especially the younger ones. They have too many insecurities(probably wimps in HS) and are looking for contoversy most of the times.

    • greenghost

There are good cops and bad cops, but even one bad cop is way too many and there seems to be way more of them around. Who will protect us from the police?

I saved the life of a young California Highway Patrol officer about 10 years ago. Was driving my Kenworth on I-40 east when I saw to mexicans had the officer on the ground and trying to get his gun. Stopped the truck and jumped out and kicked one right in the head and he went down, then just sat back and watched to see if the officer could at least take on one guy. Its hard fighting a guy when you have to keep one hand on your gun so that he doesn’t get it. The officer finally got control of the guy and handcuffed him and then jumped at mad at me for not taking care of the other one.lol I just laughed and said, well I probably shouldn’t have stopped. He finally lightened up.
Don’t know that I would ever do this again though. I’ve lost pretty much all faith in our law enforcement agencies.

So it seems, according to the officer being interviewed, that no matter what a police officer tells you to do, regardless of how many laws the officer may be breaking or rights violated, failure to comply will result in you either getting the living hell beaten out of you or being murdered. This mans civil rights were not only violated but completely denied. All the officers involved should be immediately removed from the police force and their govt issued weapons confiscated. Not signing a GD ticket should not be justification for detainment, arrest, getting beaten or killed. If the officer thought that he was correct in issuing the ticket and the driver would not sign it then he should have simply called a superior and explained why the driver refuses to sign. If it isn’t resolved by the superior officer then write refused on the ticket, give it to the driver and leave. This basically boils down to police officers saying to the public “Hey, I’m the police and you better do whatever the fk I tell you or I’ll beat the sht out of you and throw you in jail. Oh yeah, and if you put up a fight you low life pieces of sht I’ll kill you. ”
I wonder what all the officer Badasses out there are going to do when the people have had enough and start exercising their rights granted them in the constitution to deal with this obvious tyranny. I’m not calling for such a thing but it doesn’t take a frickin Nostradamus to figure out that is exactly what is about to begin. Most Americans say they do not trust politicians. Well let me tell all you “support your local cops people out there”, a cop is nothing more than a politicians muscle, enforcer and hit man. So your going to stand there and say you don’t trust that Al Capone but his gun toting thugs are all right by you? Please! And for you few decent people out there that are still cops, I’m sorry. There are just too many instances, day after day, in which a bad cop brutalizes some citizen. The day is coming soon that a police uniform is the last thing you want to be seen in. The system has gone to hell, it’s overflowing with corruption. Get out now while you still have some decency left and respect for the constitution.

When approached by an LEO during a traffic stop, roll down your window only enough to get your ID through. Have a cell phone camera, or other recording the event. If the officer asks you anything ask if you are under arrest. If they say “No” you know they are lying, because arrest means “to stop in progression.” Since your progression has been stopped alert the officer to the fact. Actually, when stopped, a cop walks up I ask how I may help him. One didn’t answer and asked if I knew why he stopped me. I said “No.” He said I had a light out & should get it fixed ASAP before a State Trooper saw me & ticketed me. That was an Orleans County (NY) sheriff deputy. He saw that I didn’t know the headlight was out, and knew the ticket was a waste of time. Also, if you have a Pistol Permit (PP), present it with the license, registration, and insurance card. However, ask him not to walk off with your PP. If he then does, you are in violation. Even better, give him the license, registration & insurance card but hold the PP against the window so he can see it. If he asks for it, especially in NYS tell him that you have weapons in the car, and that turning it over to him puts you in violation of the law, and in personal jeopardy. If he still insists, comply, but that is why you have the video. In court, that can be very valuable.

“If the public, when they get stopped, they simply comply with what they’re asked to do, they have nothing to fear, nothing to fear at all,” says Ken Hill in the video. If the only choice is to do what is “asked” or be assaulted, the victims are not being asked but are being ordered. Hill’s message clearly is, “comply immediately and without question with whatever you are told to do or you will be beaten into submission”.

Hill’s bold public statement confirms the death of civil liberties. The enforcers of the police state no longer see a need to even give lip service to Constitutional protections. Thuggery is now on full public display with no apology.

We have a lot to fear from the police today, they not only beat people up everyday with out provocation they regularly murder people, and then they plant evidence to justify their actions.

When commercial drivers are pulled over, they are going to find something to write a ticket for. The thinking is the driver will be to busy trying to making a living to fight it. It’s all about money and in this case, ROID RAGE, Cops should be tested for them and when involved in any kind of violent incident that test should be mandatory and done by an independent citizens oversight committee.

    • Louis

When pulled over by the police, even for a minor traffic violation, the very first thing a motorist should do is roll down the window and place both hands outside in plain view. When cops know you mean them no harm, they are more apt to cut you some slack.

      • 2brknot2b

Or allows them to quickly slap on the cuffs. Any idiot who would roll down their window and stick their hands out like that deserves to be cuffed, in more ways than one. What part of American citizen don’t you understand? You have rights. A civil rights lawyer can make you extremely independently wealthy.

There was a time when the Calif. Highway patrol was good. When they took over the highway system and cleaned it up and did a good job. I had friends on the CHP back then. Now most are just like many others in position of authority, out of control, so stupid, they know not where their check comes from and they bite the hand that feeds them. But them that feed them have two hands and soon will rise to remedy this problem. Keep selling your souls for a paycheck that you know not where it comes from.

      • 2brknot2b

CHP were the ones who broke that old woman’s arm in NOLA if I am not mistaken. They were part of the constabulary who was going door to door violating civil rights of the people by confiscating weapons from law abiding citizens, leaving them vulnerable to the riff raff, and other cops.

Checks probably come from the IMF just like the IRS agents’ do.

People need to get the meanest, nastiest, mudderpfukking cutthroat attorney that exists in their state when this type of thing happens. Sue those sonsabeeches for everything they have. Go after them criminally and civilly.
Nail the @$$es to the wall. We have attorneys like that in my state and I mean to tell you those cops that neat this man would have nothing left, nor would their police agency and city when these attorneys are done with them.
The problem today is that people are NOT FIGHTING BACK legally, in great numbers. It is time that each and every citizen who is abused by any cop, for any reason, sue, sue sue sue. Tie up their city and state resources with so many lawsuits that they don’t know if they are coming or going.
In mu state there have been a number of these bad@ss cops who got their comeuppance. We have had our police departments @sses kicked quite well. There is not very much police brutality here anymore. The last bastion of vicious cops has been taken on and recently one of them got his @ss sued along with the city.

    • My Sources Tell Me No

All i can say is back in the years building up to the revolutionary war. It happened multiple times that British soldiers who abused, or assaulted colonials wound up dead.

If police dont pull their heads out of their Sgt’s asses, 2014 might start to mirror 1773…

The last thing we can afford is the people and police fighting each other when we need to be fixing our broken hijacked government.

    • Geneww1938

So who will sue and have that officer fired and sent to jail. That being said, the officers I know seem to be very courteous, work hard and are fine citizens.

Even though this happened 2 years ago this abuse of power has to stop. Just think of all the abuse of power by police since this has happened. 70 year old grandma’s getting pushed to the ground, 7 year old children being arrested for walking with their parents during a peaceful protest, mental retarded adults being beaten with a baton and tased. I advice everyone out there to get one of those pen video cameras, turn it on as soon as you are stopped and keep it where it can film actions by the police, or put one of those minature video cams in your car and hook it up to a DVD recorder or hard drive recorder. When you are stopped by police turn it on. The bad thing about being stopped by the police is if you didn’t do anything wrong and you try to resist they can shoot you. If you are stopped cooperate then sue their pants off. Did you know that you don’t have to identify yourself nor show your drivers license at one of those random checkpoints. There are numerous vids on you tube that shows you how to resist peacefully and legally.

What most people do not understand is that the police are officers of the Courts . if you ever believe that you will get any relief from the court system , you are badly mistaken ! The U. S./State court system is a money making industry for the government .

The MEDIA hypes this story up so we can form a Civil War in this country Is all part of the ELITE plan!

Same thing happened to my son by two State troopers here in Clifton Park/Halfmoon, NY a few years back. He said his keys started to all off the hood of the car over which the officers had him assuming position. When he reached for the keys they said he had made a “furtive move”, and threw him to the ground beating him near senseless. He was taken to the Saratoga County jail where they immediately sent him to the hospital for observation because they didn’t want to get blamed for the beating. When my son was in court, the judge refused to do anything about the beat down, not even order an investigation. After that, my son ended up living on the streets of Clifton park after having gone through several friends, living with them while he tried to get his life back together. Today i’d say he suffers PTSD from the incident, and these two Officers of the Law are to blame. The fact is, they never said he was under arrest until he got the beat down. He had locked his car, and the cops never got a warrant to search the car after the arrest. They did everything wrong, and yet the judge, and his Richard Cranium public defender, railroaded him through the system. Today he should be suing the State & those two officers, but he just wants to put it all behind him. This is why cops have such power. People don;t want to spend eternity suing the State, or the Troopers, who would likely then have a Vendetta.

In my over the road trucking days, I discovered that outlaw cops were linked to to outlaw gangs that ran around the country causing hate and discontent. While the outlaw gangs had links and dupes (dummy Americans) in nearly every jurisdiction, the truck driver, driving and living in many jurisdictions had no rights. Dummy Americans are joining national outlaw gangs without realizing what they are doing. National outlaw gangs born of some outlaw national police agencies are recruiting at a phenomenal rate. With regular police in constant contact with these outlaw gangs the ego mania of many cops is going through the roof. America is suffering from a Nazi mentality born of the sickness of your low self esteem. Good luck with that.

abuse will continue, if we let it.

    • StarRyder

I don’t know, I think there’s more to it then the guy says. My experience as a trucker, and from Canada, with the CHP is pretty positive. I was stopped once and he jumps up on the running board to get level with me, he asks why I thought I got stopped, I said well right now I’m the only truck out here and you look bored. He laughed and said he planned to do a level 1 inspection, but I was right and the truck looks fine so he said you go on and have a good day.

Another time I was passing and one of the sneaky bastards was up my tail unseen. Pulled over I said likely my “not speeding” was a little faster then the other truck was “not speeding” ( because we were both about in the mid sixties) and the cop chuckled and said ” try to NOT SPEED a bit slower okay” and let me go.

They aren’t all bad and out to get us, something else is usually at play when they get real pissed off.
