Mexican National Sentenced in Methamphetamine Distribution Conspiracy

United States Attorney Joe Kelly announced that Senior United States District Judge Laurie Smith Camp sentenced Rodolfo Genchi-Villal today to a term of imprisonment of 46 months.Genchi-Villal will serve a 5-year term of supervised release following his release from the Bureau of Prisons. There is no parole in the federal system.Genchi-Villal will be deported from the United States to Mexico after serving his prison term.
Genchi-Villal, 36, was convicted of conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine with Juan Aguilar-Pacheco and Luis Angel Lorenzo-Gallardo in the Omaha area between May 2, 2019, and August 6, 2019.Genchi-Villal was arrested while he delivered approximately one pound of methamphetamine to a customer waiting in a parking lot.
On March 2, 2020, co-defendant Juan Aguilar-Pacheco was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of 57 months and a 5-year term of supervised release. Aguilar-Pacheco will also be deported from the United States to Mexico after his prison term. The remaining defendant in the case, Luis Angel Lorenzo-Gallardo, is scheduled to be sentenced on June 1, 2020.
The case was primarily investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Task Force.
